What tracks and cars do ya'll want to see? GamingGod999Mostly European exotic cars. :D The new Ferrari, Lambo and McLaren would be nice to have.

[QUOTE="UCF_Knight"]This is looking to be what GT5 should have been, at the expense of not having a next gen GT for even longer now. As a fan, I'm not happy.Wasdie
Yup. Pretty dumb decision. Looks like poor management continues. That's been plaguing the PS3 all gen.
Holiday 2013 is when the PS4 launches. This is just stupid. They should delay it for a year or so and have done a port to the PS4 and launched it on both.
I think GT6 will get ported to the PS4 eventually, but before that, I guess they want to capitalize on the large PS3 userbase, as GT5 is the best selling PS3 exclusive.
How well will it work out for them, remains to be seen... but it's not necessarily a dumb decision, I'd say.
GoW 2 on the PS2 was in the same spot back in 2007, and IIRC, it was a commercial success...

Looks like those 2 and a half years have been dedicated to making the 200 new cars, and redoing the physics and particle engine. And the 19 new tracks. To be fair, when I thihnk about it that way, that's still more than the difference between Forza 3 and Forza 4.
GamingGod999
But the fact remains they are still lagging behind in terms of content. They are supporting old models. Between Forza 3 and Forza 4 they redid the physics, upped the graphics engines, added a bunch of tracks, and redid the entire online community, yet they did that in only 2 years.Â
Hasn't Turn 10 been outsourcing their car models? :? What difference does that make?[QUOTE="_Matt_"]
[QUOTE="Wasdie"]
That is absolutely pathetic and inexcusable. Nobody should by this out of principle. They've had more than 3 years since GT5 launched.Â

Well tbh Forza still hasn't even got the basics yet, like night racing, off-road racing, snow racing not to mention stuff like track creation.
Don't think it's fair to say either one is lagging when they both have their pros and cons.
That sounds very interesting. Hopefully that means we get some kind of PS4 version :cool:This is an interesting quote: "Â Were pleased to deliver GT6 to PlayStation 3 as we have a very loyal community on that platform. However, we have refactored the game to make it very flexible and expandable, with a view to making many future developments"
Possible PS4 release in the future?
_Matt_
Oh, so no PS2 cars announced? :P Thank God! It will be sweet if all cars are premium. I noticed the Lamborghini Countach that used to be Standard in GT5 was a premium in this trailer. Hopefully that means all the other cars got upgraded to premium too. I noticed that too. Swear the Alfa shown was also a standard car in 5 too? At the point with the Alfa Romao you can see some 2D treas which is disappointing, no mention of damage modelling yet either which whilst i personally don't care about it, i know others will be looking for it. Well hopefully since they've updated the physics we might get some nice damage modeling in GT6 too *crosses fingers*[QUOTE="I_can_haz"][QUOTE="Clock-w0rk"]
False information.
PD did not announce this.

Not a lot, but sometimes can result in some horrible inconsistency in rare cases. I think PD should outsource too tbh.

I'd assume that falls under Playstation. I mean, they didn't say PS3 specifically so it means more than that, so what else is there.[QUOTE="GamingGod999"]I really want the Fiat 500 abarth to appear. :)_Matt_

fixed ;) no one should forget the creator of gran turismo
Meh, looks like an expansion pack for GT5, should of spend more time with it and made this for the ps4. Not intrested, now wake me up when GT7 get announced for the ps4.
I'm still excited. The only part of GT5 I havent completed yet are the endurance races.
Maybe I'll like GT6 as much as I did GT4 (gt3 vs 4.......ala gt5 vs 6)

Â
Â
Oh man the Endurance races are the best bit in my eyes, and what sets it apart from Forza in a way:
get a few mates over, crack out the beers, then do 10 laps each changing controller at pit stops or something, so much fun :)

I hope you also thought Forza 4 was merely an expansion pack for Forza 3, because that had less added content between releases than this.
Their was already multiple threads and the GT5 sticky thread had a lot of posts.A sticky? Â Really? :?

What tracks and cars do ya'll want to see? GamingGod999adding some UK tracks and recent BTCC cars would be a good place to start, tracks like Brands Hatch, Thruxton, Knockhill and Croft have a really simple layout but the camber and track surface tend to make for really exciting racing.

Think there will be more than one grass texture in this one?
I will be impresses if the older tracks are more than just HD remakes. I little effort Polyphony. Please?

read the op. Complete new engine and driving physics and other improvements. How is that an expansion pack for GT5 :?
Not surprising but, it is surprising that it's not coming out for the PS4, at least at launch. Maybe they don't want it to compete with Drive Club?tagyhagPretty sure it will. It will be GT6 Deluxe or something. One thing it does is puts GT farther behind Forza than it already is. Still, I think they are doing the right thing putting it on PS3. After Prologue which was a joke demo and a broken and unfinished GT5, Polyphony owes the PS3 fanbase a great racing game.
