Graphics Peasant (56k's a no go)

i thought i'd try to do a something different with this thread. here on system wars, we have "Graphics King" threads on a daily basis, and more than one new thread made about best graphics per day. so i thought i'd make a little experiment. this thread is also about graphics, but not the best. on the contrary, this thread will be about games with the worst graphics this generation - the graphics peasant. let me kick this thread off with two games that i feel have the worst graphics. both are for the 360 and the first was a launch title.

just two simple rules.

-the game has to be from this gen.

-NO handhelds.

-

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires

damn that's ugly!

the next game, though not quite as ugly, can be considered subpar at best. it's also a kick to my nuts because i love the game.

Disgaea is pretty bad for a current gen game. It looks like a PS1 game

Both my games are insanely fun an addicting; supporting the rule that graphics != fun

I loved some Earth Defense Force. It was the samething over and over but it was so addicting.

Edit- To the post above. lol Ya that is tough to beat. I am trying to find others now that are around that bad.

Pretty much any Wii game not made by Nintendo, with a few exceptions but man most games on that thing are inexcusably ugly.

oh good lord! :o are those lights floating? and is that truck driving on the side of a mountain covered in Vaseline? what the hell was nintendo thinking? good thing they did away with that "nintedno seal of approval".

Excite Truck doesn't look bad. It could be more detailed, yes. But, it goes for a more arcade-like experience. At the very least, it's playable.

And, Big Rigs has more than graphical problems. Honestly, it's the worst game I've ever seen. How that made it to the market is beyond me.

your just being fanboyish. if i wanted to, i could've started this thread with mgs4. that game has some of the worst textures of any game this gen. but i didn't post it. why? because i'm tring to make this a serious thread with games that look terrible.

Gundam Crossfire. It may not look so bad in these pics, but the game looked awful in gameplay. Almost PS1ish in some places. The review from X-play did justice to how awful they were.

everything looks better than big rigs. look at stalin vs. martians. and that got a 1.5. it just barley beat out big rigs 1.0. but remember this thread is for all games that look bad.

How does No More Heroes and MadWorld and Disgea count as having bad graphics?

No More Heroes and Madworld look great with their cel shaded cartoon like graphics. Alot of effort went into that.

Disgea has retro graphics not bad ones.

16 bit pixel games don't look bad just because they aren't complicated.

Retro and Cel Shaded doesn't equal bad graphics.
