Physics: New physics, Damage, Movable objects on track, hybrid and electric cars properly simulated.

Arcade: Single Player, Split-Screen 2-Player

GT Mode:World Map, My Garage, Car Dealer, Tuning Shop, Championship Race, and License Test.

Online: Open Lobby, Text/Voice Chat, Private Room, Online Photo Album, Online Replay Album, and you can export replays to YouTube.

Photo Mode: Photo Drive, Photo Stage

GT TV: Improved UI, export of videos to PSP, and progressive downloading.

Disappointing to say the least. Hopefully Forza releases it on 360 and pc to try and kill GT's thunder. I'd definitely buy Forza for the pc. I want a 360, but it's not worth it for me anymore. $300+ for 2-3 games doesn't seem right to me although almost none of my friends own a ps3.

Can't say I'm suprised. Japan gets it March 2010, the rest of us a few months later as history shows. They better have some great features they're holding close to their chest, because world map, private lobbies, voice chat and car dealer aren't exactly bullet point worthy.

Wow... earlier than I expected... yet far later than GT fanboys were expecting. The 20 locations/70 tracks thing stumps me a little... wasn't there supposed to be like 100 different tracks? I guess the Polyphony practice of making 4 different variations of the same track still goes strong in their development cycle. It seems like this game is just going to be GT4 with fancier graphics (once again), cosmetic damage and some new cars.

This is decidedly *not* the Forza killer I was promised. Hell it isn't even the NFS: Shift killer.

In Japan. The rest of us get to wait a few months at best, holiday 2010 more likely. KY spoke of a simultaneous world-wide launch...not suprised he lied yet again.

I don't see how anything can be determined a *killer* based off of minimal text information. I'm assuming Polyphony promised you Gran Turismo 5 would kill Forza?Episode_Eve

System Wars: Serious business.

It's just hyperbole. After years of talk of how GT5 was going to blow the doors off of Forza (pun!) with features like truly realistic damage, 90+ unique tracks, a track editor, real-time weather patterns, etc., it's hard to not be underwhelmed by the new information.
