GTA IV looks CRAPPY by the way ! admit

ok guys lets finish the fight between which version will look better. GTA IV graphix could be done on the PS2, GTA IV is a flop graphicly especially when Rockstar is admitting it. They remove all bad looking pictures and all bad looking videos from blogs and other websites. the only thing Rockstar is using from the next gen is the RAM. more traffics and better europhia. Well, If you guys think GTA series were never about graphix go and play Mario. This is the new gen and we want BETTER GRAPHIX !

Well I think people are deluding themselves if they think either version is going to have a locked in framerate. But it looks pretty nice and about 3000 times better than the last gen versions. Even Saints Row looked that much better and it was rushed.

The last thing I care about is graphics. GTA games are fun, they are fun to do the mission, the side missions, basically everything.

I want a man who comes and say YES ! Graphix are ugly but give it a chance, the gameplay is awesome

I disagree. I've never played a GTA game that had a very good story. What attracts people to the games is the open-world, sandbox gameplay; the freedom to do whatever you want in a living, breathing world.

that feature is being changed a lot in this game from what ive heard, with parked cars atleast, with cars that are moving i havent heard anything really

heres what i mean when i say the textures look like they have brush strokes, have a look a the trees and buildings:

does it not looked painted? i believe Gta 4 has a unique graphic style with that filter and colors.

this one has those bad textures u were talking about, heck yeah its fugly, but u can see the filter they use on the background and textures eh?

but look at the draw distance, and is it all that bad? i mean its not no ps2 looking game. When was gta4 known for its amazing graphics anyways?

i mean does this not look fun? it slooks artistic and unique and the draw distance is great! sure its no crack down with the draw distance but it crams alot on screen eh?

What ppl expect to see? Cars be like GT5(that is a game alone) action/fights be like COD4-Tekken6 and the town be like CGI movie??

I agree. With everything GTA IV offers, you can't expect it to have amazing textures. For god sakes, it has the largest world in a video game (open world). It shouldn't be the best at car graphics, etc. Don't expect GTA graphics to blow you away. GTA IV though looks amazingin some spots. Don't forget the game hasn't gone gold yet. There are areas devs leave to finish up later. They make the main areas look good first and there are some main areas that look really good. If you people flame GTA games, you don't love games then.

TC doesnt understand that sandbox games in general are much more demanding than other games.

Oblivion is probably one of the best looking sandbox games. The game displays no more than about 4 npc's at any time when roaming the wilderness and it studders every 20ft when riding a horse at 15mph. Imagine tripling the amount of npc's and a horse that can go 60mph... your console would explode.

lol what? So thats what u blame? not the ram of the systems with all the textures they need alot of ram space....so they just degrade the quialty to get large amounts and many diffrent variations to fit into the ram...lol cows blame dvd9.
