Honestly, I've played every FPS Halo game that's come out and they all feel exactly the same. Sure there's a lot of new multiplayer modes, but the base of the game is still exactly the same from 2001. Shooting with your ARs and BRs, hopping on ghost's and warthogs driving around and running people over... walking and jumping ridiculously slow and hiding behind shields. The reason I dislike Halo 3:ODST is because they ARE trying to do something new but they're going about it horribly. Instead of making it a Halo game they should have made it a new franchise altogether since they're changing the gameplay mechanics. I'd almost be willing to bet when the idea of Halo ODST came up at Bungie, at first it was going to be a new IP... but they decided to make it a Halo game knowing it would make them more money. Also, if it HAD to be a Halo game... why make it an expansion pack? Why charge full price for the expansion pack? Why not make it it's own game "ODST" in the Halo universe instead of "Halo 3:ODST" expansion pack? Why don't lemmings care that they'll be paying $60 for an expansion pack? :| Just like they don't care to pay $50 for XBL EVERY YEAR times how many years they've had XBL adding up to a possible $400 or more depending on what year they started subscribing to XBL. Why don't lemmings care that they can't play half of the games that they payed full price for without a XBL gold account? My whole point is that lemmings have REALLY lowered their standards lately. It seems like they don't mind being charged up the butt of stuff that should be minimal charges or come free. It also seems like lemmings ONLY care about Halo and Gears. Let's get real now, everywhere I go and there's a lemming around... all that lemming usually ever talks about is Halo or Gears. It's annoying and those 2 games are overhyped to the point where it's just ridiculous and downright obnoxious. As much as I'm impressed with Uncharted 2 so far, I'd be really disappointed if all Sony started putting effort into is Uncharted and Killzone games. Because that's all it seems like Microsoft first party is obsessed with making, or at least hyping... Messiahbolical-

I don't even know how I started arguing about sales in the first place. All I was trying to say is that even if ODST does outsell U2, U2 will still be the better game.

thats obvious, ODST could suck, but its still an FPS halo game and is almost guaranteed to outsell everything this year with the possible exception of GT 5, as GT is the only game that is (I think) coming out this year that has a huge name like Halo ODST. Uncharted 2 is popular for forumites but not much for casuals, Scribblenauts might do okay but probably nowhere near as well as those 2, and any other large releases as I said with Uncharted, dont have big enough names really...

oh, New Super Mario Bros Wii may have a chance to beat it too.

Of course ODST is going to sell more, I don't really think anyone thinks otherwise, and since it's developed by Bungie, I have no doubt it's going to be very good. Whether it's better than Uncharted 2 however, we shall see.

360 owners get the luxury of playing halo ODST and MW2 where as PS3 owners are stuck with uncharted 2

Yeah it probably will but that doesn't mean it will be the better game. You could take big rigs, stick Halo on it and it would sell a million plus copies.

thats a lie we don't know if halo wars hit 1 million beforekillzone 2 because in it's first 3 days Killzone 2 hit 750,000 the report of halo wars hitting a million came in a couple of weeks of it being released.

it's quite pitiful especially for a game with the name halo on it it shouldve sold a million in it's first day.

at least killzone 2 has an excuse nobody knows of killzone and the last game scored a 6.7

I agree that ODST will outsell Uncharted 2 BUT! not because Uncharted 2 will lose itself in the shuffle. Simply because Halo is...well Halo and it sells like hot potatoes.

Sales or quality, I wonder which is more relevant to me (and gamers). The latter, and if ODST isn't more of a quality game, it doesn't matter what it sells (i.e. unless you're in System Wars). Tough question, tough question. We counting expansions these days? :P
