i know that when bungie seperated from microsoft they said they wanted to try out new ips and new experiences, don't know if they said they don't plan on making another Halo game (although i can't see Bungie just stopping making Halo games alltogether)

Cramming in 'MOAR FEATURES' does not result in the best game.

Which is why halo 3 is far from the 'best package' this gen.

Its like saying 'My McDonalds meal comes with a burger, fries and a drink, thus it is better as its the "best package", which means its better than everything else'

Fact is when contents of the package are of questionable quality the title 'best' really isnt fitting.

How is Halo 3's quality questionable? Maybe it doesn't suit your tastes, but the ingredients are all AAA.

Halo's been about playing with your friends on the X-box. Not by yourself as a hermit.

Why is this anything to care about? Face it, the only people who care about this and Sony fanboys who want to feel better about getting their PS3. None of these people saying they arent getting a 360 because some of it's games go to the PC honestly plan on buying these games. Just look at the sales number for Halo 2 and Gears of War on the PC. Their absolutly nothing next to their X-box counter parts.

Most PC gamers are interested in games made for the PC. And most PC gamers arent over lapping console gamers.

Halo 2 was ported by Microsoft Game Studios itself. And if Halo 3 is ported it wont be Bungie that does it.

The porting decision are never made by Bungie and are never carried out by Bungie.

Also, a certain number of PS3 owners who *don't* own a high-end rig but a rig just good enough to play games will want to buy it as well and see what the fuss was about. Either way, even if it's not a huge audience in terms of sales, it does mean another system we can play it on.
