They won't be able to get funding for exclusives if AAA production costs continue to soar, that's the sad truth.

MGS was sucessful, but it was also extremely expensive and difficult to make. Such practices are becoming more and more suicidal for publishers and developers alike.

i understand your point, but the almighty $$ speaks more to companies. i am exaggerating a little. there are always first party exclusives.

Cramming in 'MOAR FEATURES' does not result in the best game.

Which is why halo 3 is far from the 'best package' this gen.

Its like saying 'My McDonalds meal comes with a burger, fries and a drink, thus it is better as its the "best package", which means its better than everything else'

Fact is when contents of the package are of questionable quality the title 'best' really isnt fitting.

How is Halo 3's quality questionable? Maybe it doesn't suit your tastes, but the ingredients are all AAA.

..according to this kiosk, similar to the Gears of War PC kiosk that leaked at one point. I would suspect MS will be launching Halo 3 with their new GFW Live download service that is supposed to launch this Fall, but who knows. Since Gears 2 will be moving 360's this Fall, it wouldn't be out of the question, and knowing just how crazy 360 fans are about getting more achievments, this would be another way for MS to sell even more copies, as they've always done in the past.

This Fall or next spring, it's either or in my eyes

why do people keep saying 360 has many exclusives if they are going to PC (ME, bioshock, GOW, fable and halo) NG might be the only pure exclusive for 360 which has a unique gameplay

Exellent multiplayer, singleplayer which fluctuates in quality from good, to terrible - for a variety of reasons. Ultimatley ends up being ok.skrat_01

Well obviously thats your opinion. But i think ill go with the 94% Average on Gamerankings which proves the game is a little better than "OK"

I thought halo's single player is alright....but the weapons are terrible for multiplayer the running speed is too slow and frame of vision is terrible for multiplayer and jumping is terrible and basically maps you cant time the hand grenades.

Funnest part of halo is driving the warthhog.
