Rocky 5 is underrated just because it didnt end up in a boxing ring. I hate people who bash this masterpiece. I bet everyone wouldve complained if it ended in the ring. They wouldve accused it of the same old stuff. Im glad they went with the street fight. Just because it didnt make as much money as the previous films, dosent make it a bad movie.

The exact opposite can happen too. Look at napolean dynamite. This is the worst movie ever created yet it made millions. What is even worse is some "professional film critics" gave it great reviews. This movie is a joke. I hate it. I hate it almost as much as the piece of overrated junk ipod.

Oh, and halo 3 will be successful. Maybe not as great as Killzone PS3, but it will come close.

Halo: Combat Evolved. Or rather - Combat DeEvolved. That should be the slogan that Microsoft should run with for the latest in its One Hit Wonder trilogy - Halo 3.

Now don't get me wrong. Halo was a good game, although a little over rated, and fulfilled itself as the only official X-Box game worth buying the console for (although it came out on PC! Bad move). It developed tactical shooting and developed a good fanbase for those interested in that kind of thing. It had satisfactory multiplayer content which was good solid fun but also applied the use of tactics like in the missions.

Then enter Halo 2. To increase Halo fanbase, they decided to dumb the game down for those who don't have the time for tactics and made the game just a full on shooter with limited tactics and cruddy weapons. Yes Halo 1s weapons were far superior.

And now Halo 3 which promises to be a rehash of Halo 2s style of gameplay to keep these gamers who don't like to think that much and just shoot (the types of gamers who thought Doom 3 and Prey were Gods Gift to Gaming) and still keep in pretty well the same style as Tribes only without the jetpacks. Plus the same repetitive nature of the game will drastically annoy fans of the original and soon enough people will just ignore Halo and remember it for what the series really is - A One Hit Wonder, much in the same vain as the Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out" and the original Rocky film.

Resistance is the Halo killer for this generation of gaming. No doubt about it.

I am getting a PS3, but I would consider myself a hardcore gamer.  I'm a huge FPS fan, but selective at the same time.  I have to have the latest games, such as MotorStorm, Heavenly Sword, and Lair.  Having said that, I'm also not getting the PS3 until Metal Gear Solid 4 come out.  Which brings me to this.

I think the PS3 is trash compared to the 360.  Graphically we aren't going to see much else out of the PS3, and not only that, but I bet every single multiconsole game looks better on 360.  Every single one!  I'll bet I can put Project Gothem Racing 3 up against Gran Turismo 5, and graphically come out even.  I'm going to love picking up GT5, but I know I'll end up playing more Forza 2, and PGR 4 then anything else.

As far as Halo goes, those huys took the shooter genre over, so just deal with it.  Games like Resistance are garbage.  Heck, Call of Duty 2 is more worthy then Resistance.  There are very few great FPS, and there called Half Life(Counter Strike Source), Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark(the first one!!), The Chronicles of Riddick, Halo, Halo 2, and the soon to be released Halo 3.  These games are put here above all others, because they were innovative and wooped ***.  For their time they are the best of the best. 

Not Killzone, Haze, Red Faction, Far Cry,  Unreal Tournament, Medal of Honor(the whole trashy series), Time Splitters, Perfect Dark Zero(Rare lost their touch), Doom 3(or any other Doom), or any other trashy clone for that matter.

Killzone 2 and Crysis will not match Halo 3.  They won't match the mutiplayer, or the campain!  Killzone 2's graphics won't be able to match Halo 3, and especially not the gameplay!!!!  Crysis looks amazing and I won't refute that at all, but as an overall game....good luck.

I'll give propes to Brothers In Arms series, and Call of Duty 2(not CoD3), but no one else.

Rocky 4 was the best one. As for Halo, I myself aren't a huge fan of sci-fi games, but I actually know 3 casual gamers waiting for this game to come out so they can go buy a 360.dru26

halo 3 will be successful, will it be more succesful then resistance? probably because:

1.it's coming out later, giving bungie time to work on it

2. so much people are hooked on halo1 and 2 that halo 3 is bound to sell a crap load of copies

not only that but fanal fantasy has been the best rpg frachise ever, not just because of its fans and good reviews, but i dont see many other games with15+ games that span over 5 generations and stil scores AAA and wins best ps2 game. mass effect looks awsome but saying final fnantasy will flop is stupider than saying halo 3 will flop. because halo 3 has a slim, slim chance ofthe game being bad (i dont think it will be but it COULD happen but not likeley) becausen there has only been two games to build on
