Even playing some of the game would net you an achievement. This has nothing to do with how many youhave, but the extent of your knowledge regarding the games.
[QUOTE="freedomfreak"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"]Just buy it, man. We won't judge you. No. F*ck 'em. Get over it, DarkLink. It's an awesome game I don't get what your problem is. It completely sh!ts on Reach. I was one of the first ones worried about the CODization of the game when 343 first mentioned the MP changes. I thought I was gonna hate it. Boy was I wrong.F*cking casuals. F*cking 343.

Imagine setting up custom game in halo and having the option to turn off auto aim when you are selecting the map and gameplay mode then you launch the game and invite friends and nobody could use auto aim.
unreal championship 1 was this way except your custom auto aim off game could be viewed by anyone who's not on your friendlist via the server browser.
this concept of gameplay is too hardcore for the halo commnuty to grasp so they rebel against it like rurthless casuals.
[QUOTE="casualU"]Nobody ever topped unreal championship to this day still the 1# xbox live shooter. I think UT 3 is better. Not as good as UT2k4 but better than any console shooters. Too bad no one gave it a shot.unreal championship set the standard for all xbox live first person.
auto aim off server side game options should be required for all games.
casualU
This is the only Halo game besides ODST and HALO Wars I didn't buy first day.
I'll wait till the xbox replacement is released and pick it up for $5 used.

So much for Halo being a dying franchise like so many people here tried to make people believe.
Thank you 343.

Oh come on... You really think any of us are surprised? What else are 360 gamers going to spend that money on when theres nothing else on 360 worth buying?

These are all standard mechanics in nearly all modern FPS, not using these would be failing to keep up.
Kuk is also forgetting how much console shooters took from Halo. The whole landscape would be different.

Well if you think that ok, some might disagree. I'm just laughing at lems who bash COD and then praise Halo when both are using so similar mechanics.[QUOTE="megadeth1117"][QUOTE="kuraimen"]

Gameplay-wise, the only similarity between the Call of Duty franchise and the Halo franchise is that both have guns which you shoot things with. They couldn't be anymore different.

I see cows are pulling the "lol sales =/= quality" or "sales don't matter" cards. Do they not realize that even if we do ignore Halo 4's sales, there will still be more people playing the game and playing it longer than any PS3 exclusive ever?
This past September, Halo 3 had 35k people playing it in one day and that's after 5 years. PS3 exclusives struggle to gain more than 20k concurrent players a week after launch.
To be fair though...It's hard to watch a movie and play a game at the same timeI see cows are pulling the "lol sales =/= quality" or "sales don't matter" cards. They really couldn't play any differently...
Get a seasoned CoD player to play a match of Slayer and he'd be destroyed. Halo is a very hard game to master and the platform it's on is irrelevant. A lot of PC gamers would struggle too. There are pretty much no games out on console that play like Halo.

Funny, the CS players said something similar and the team from CoD is the top team in CS GO right now
As reported by VgChartzArticleNow they're a credible source?
Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised if this game did turn out to break a few sales records.

Have no idea what you're referring to...
And CS and CoD would be far more similar than Halo and CoD, so I'm not sure how that's relevant.

I'm currently enjoying Halo 4 mp but its not a hard game to master like Quake or UT.Agreed, but it's not far behind. You benefit immensely from knowing how far frags bounce and in which direction, how many bursts from your BR are needed to take down your current foe, how to use a Splaser efficiently, when to melee in close quarters(everyone knows what I'm talking about), how far your Hog fishtails, how to strafe well and a sh*tload more besides.
It's an easy game to pick up and play, but it's really difficult to get that "feel" for the game. It controls and feels the same at it's core since Halo:CE, which I first played over ten years ago. A lot of the above stuff pertained to that game also but I still find myself making stupid mistakes and dying, and immediately after thinking; I should have twitched to the left a bit, or I should have jumped, or I should have thrown a plasma nade, and so on.
