Halo Great FPS or Greatest FPS?

Halo: CE maybe ONE of the best yeah

halo2: sucked(imo)

Halo3: they took the best things out of halo2 and some things out of haloCE, so it's better than 2 imo, but still not better than CE

This, I think Halo is OK, but I don't see what everyone loves about it...probably just because it was like one of the first console online FPS's and it was almost as good as PC standard.

I disagree. Yes, calling Halo the greatest is stupid, but calling it bad is just as stupid.

IMO, emphasis on the word opinion, Halo:CE was excellent. Halo 2 and 3 were great, but nothing more. Halo 2's campaign, while better than alot of other FPS's out there, was bleh. But the multiplayer was where it really shone. Halo 3 had a bit of both, the single player was alot better, but the multiplayer suffered. Anyway, my point being some of you may just dislike the series but that doesnt make the game bad, nor should it spark the reaction of you "ROFL" just because someone says they like the game.

The Half-Life series is WAYYYYYY better than the Halo series that is one thing I can say with absolute confidence. Not even in the same league IMO.

It is a highly subjective matter in which there is no right or wrong answer. To me, Halo and Halo 3 are my favorite FPS' and up there with my favorite games. Halo 2...not so much.DonPerian

I didn't even try online really. It wasn't even worth my time. What makes you think I would waste my time with Halo 3 when I have games like CS: Source, Call of Duty 4, Guild Wars, and Crysis to keep me busy. Give me a break.

Edit: BTW I was CAL-I/CEVO-P in Source so I can hold my own against the best players in the world...and just an FYI CS: Source takes a TON more skill than any Halo game.

Ive played through both games, infact ive beat Half Life 2 twice, and the episodes too of course. But i didnt find them amazing, or anything special, just good solid shooters. To me, the Halo series is better than the Half Life series.

I am not a huge FPS fan, but the halo series is good, a very fun game to play, not the best story, but fun single player and great online
