Though to someone who enjoys quality and full games that are deserving of full price tags, bungie has made 1 AAA game this gen with another AAA possibly coming. Strange, I always though that PC gamers (I was one and probably still am actually) would prefer not being completely ripped off.

Where was I being ripped off? The question of value comes to face with the individual itself. While Halo 3: ODST has a short 6-8 hour campaign, the firefight alone makes up for the shortcoming by providing endless hours of entertainment. Couple in the Halo 3 multiplayer disk, which has all the new maps and you got yourself a nice product for myself. Well worth the $60, and I choose my games wisely. I've only bought one console game since 2008. And that was ODST, I got MW2 as a gift but other than that -- I'm very picky in what I buy for console games. If you think it ain't worth it, more power to you. I thought Alan Wake, GoW3, and Heavy Rain weren't worthy of a $60 purchase and plenty disageed. Value is reflected by the individual itself.

Stevo people would respect you a lot more if you were honest. ODST was a rip off and didn't deserve AAA, and to say firefight alone is endless hours of replayabilty thats like saying a racing game with one car and one track has endless hours of replayability because you can put infinite laps...

So basically, to someone who has already spent 60 dollars on Halo 3, it is a DLC.

I've only bought one console game since 2008. And that was ODST, I got MW2 as a gift but other than that -- I'm very picky in what I buy for console games. The truth is, Halo IS popular and will continue to BE popular in the foreseeable future, because a lot of people like Bungie's current flagship franchise. All signs point to the continuation of this truth with the upcoming release of Halo: Reach.

The truth is, Halo IS popular and will continue to BE popular in the foreseeable future, because a lot of people like Bungie's current flagship franchise. All signs point to the continuation of this truth with the upcoming release of Halo: Reach.

It's highly unlikely that Halo: Reach will flop at GS :). The E3 awards aren't much of an indication for scores and potential accolades down the line. Even if the reviewer isn't fond of the franchise (which I doubt they'll hand to a critic who loathes it), it's gonna be hard to deny that the game is well made and provides tons of content.

Do you say so, because the PS3 is the lead development platform, has PS Move support, or is it the PS3 Limited Edition which includes Dead Space: Extraction? Or all three :P? I don't think Dead Space 2 is a pro-Sony game at all. Remember, some publications gave the 360 game of show to Dance Central, Child of Eden, and Portal 2. Doesn't mean they don't like Halo: Reach.
