halo reach is one of the best looking game this gen (no 56K)

why pepole say that halo reach graphics are bad?

its one of the best looking games on consoles.

Im preety sure no one said Halo looked ugly or weak,it definately is a beautiful game that was made with alota effort and care. But i dont want to assume you want to start making comparisons to Elite games of the looks

It looks good, but if you say it's one of the best looking games this gen, then there are a lot of "best looking games this gen"

It looks better than people say it does, but it's not the best looking game out there. The engine really does effects and lighting well, it sufferes with textures quite a bit. They really do a good job with the really massive skyboxes and the awesome artistic direction the game has.

All I got from those pics is that Halo has pretty sky boxes and good lighting while everything else is average

People will say scale doesn't count, in which case something like fight night would be the best looking game on consoles.

Haven't played it, but judging from those screenshots, I'll say nah. Plenty of other games from last year look better than it to be honest.

I would say character models fall into KZ2's hands quite nicely.

^^ it is a great looking game. It's really not one of the best though, it's got a bit too many issues for that.

There's no denying Halo: Reach is a great looking game, but it's not one of the best looking games this gen.

I think if Reach was 720p, had no framerate dips, and had normal 2xMSAA, (instead of the cruddy temporal AA it uses) it'd be up there with the best on consoles.

The scale in reach is pretty impressive though, and the art is gorgeous :)

Bungie doesn't know how to make a top notch graphics king game. Halo reach looked horrible IMO even halo 3 looked better. How could the sequel look worse than the previous game?? I dont know but Bungie managed to do it. Oh and yes I have both halo 3 AND reach, beat both. Also to ps3 fans saying kz2 looks better....not it also looks like my dump....just horrible I have the demo on my ps3 and damn i don't even know how ppl consider it the best looking game on the ps3. The controls for the game are also awful.

I played it at my friends house and the graphics aren't very good.
