Actually, if you go here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Skjw37keeZ8and watch the video, you'll see the it's pretty much the same in terms of graphics, even the explosion.

Heavenly sowrd has nothing on gears look at the gameplay pics (not CGI) for both games then compare and comeback to me.

Yea, the shiny makes it better. You see, there are different typres of games. This game shows more detail on the characters than the back ground where HS shows every detail on the screen. :P

I was about to post something very similar. Although I'm not lookg foward to HS much, I do like the artstyle.

The game looks great but it does not look better than Gears of War..period.

Cut scenes look nice..but gameplay, theres many games that look better.

That flag thats sticking straight out looks worse then the explosion to me lol. But that picture really doesn't look good.

However the videos I've seen do look good (graphically.. gameplay doesn't intrest me)

Games do not cumulatively better with each release.

Even I'll admit that, visually, Gears was probably a year ahead of the standard (even if it sucked ass as a game).

Did you post this to prove that gameplay doesnt look like the cutscenes?! Its a nice looking game and I dont hate on games purely because they're on PS3, but I just dont give a f*** about the PS3. I think it was overhyped, didnt come close to being the system everyone claimed it would be. And all this "just wait" s*** is pathetic! You Sony sheeple were talking s*** months before the thing hit the shelves, and here, months after its release, it STILL isnt doing anything better than its competition. Im glad to see the PS3 flopping. The arrogance of Sony and its consumers made me feel this way...

Thats funny, in the E3 '06 demo I believe, there was a portion of the video when the characters were talking, the narrator said something like, " thought this may look like a cutscene, this is actual gameplay engine". Id be surprised to hear them switch up and say that now, when you interact with people, the graphics all of a sudden switch up to be better than gameplay. That wouldnt make much sense...
