These games are all exclusive to PS3 and will be coming next year. Now how is Microsoft going to compete with this? Well we know theres Ninja Gaiden 2(a hardcore action game that doesn't sale to well)and Too Human(if this one ever comes) and then there's Halo Wars.... Microsoft is going to be in trouble next year if this is all they can bring to the table.

If the game does come to 360 which I doubt because of DVD it won't even matteranymore because PS3 owners will get it in March.

1- FF 13 is coming in 09. But japan might get it in 08.
2- When was resistance 2 and motorstorm 2 confirmed for next year.
3- Disgea is a great series and all, but how much does it sell.

4- Ninja Gaiden 2, Banjo 3, Halo Wars, Huxley, Alan Wake, Lost Odyssey, Too Human Infinite Undiscovery, Fable 2,etc.

Also GTA 4 will probably sell more 360s, since 1 the 360 will be cheaper and 2 the 360 will get the superior GTA 4 game.

Resistance 2 Details

I listed games with a confirmed release date for 2008. None of those games except for Ninja Gaiden 2and Lost Odysseyhas an announced release date. Two of those games(Huxley and Too Human)have been in development for forever I wonder if they will come out.

• Metal Gear Solid 4: tired franchise.....meh
• Little Big Planet: if you want to play with stuffed animals, you could probably get a few from Toys R Us for like $10.00
• Socom: Confrontation: tired franchise....meh
• Killzone 2: has potential
• Tekken 6 : extremely tired franchise
• Gran Turismo 5: GT IV FLOPPED!!!!!!! Who knows if they will rebound this time around
• Disgaea 3: obscure JRPG's FTW!!!! This is coming from a person who has played tons of JRPG's.

I agree, but with Alan Awake I serioulsy do not understand what all the hype is about. I guess if I didn't have many exclusive games on my system I would hype all "console" exclusive games to. Even if the trailer really didn't show what the game was all about.

Thing is I already know what few titles M$ has announced for next and none of them compare to what the PS3 has to offer for next year. And if they look promising excluding Infinite Discovery they are not exclusive to 360.

First and foremost is the fact that they've not been released. Anything said now is on speculation and often times baseless opinion. They may look good on paper and in development but delivery may be bitter or sour. Remember Daikatana or however it was spelt? Remember Lair? Do not forget your history. Nothing is infallible and it isn't over until it's over.

Secondly. Does Microsoft have to "beat" the 2008 lineup of the PS3? A hit is a hit no matter when it is released in a console's timeline. Obviously it's better to get it out sooner and build up from there or challenge the opposition. In this case the 360 already has a lot of good hits out and will get more in the near future. It's safe to say that the 360 is in a good position for 2007. It isn't unheard of prosperity carrying over, too, you know.

Thirdly. 2008 is a long year and there's still time before it even begins. There may be projects as of yet unannounced. Sometimes it's better to keep a tight lid on it instead of blabbing to the world you got four aces.

Also. Regardless of your opinion on graphics, gameplay, sales, or whatever. . . a handful of games that do exceptionally well in all these areaswilllikely trump a lot of games that do fairly good in these areas.

Just a few things to consider before you wave that little victory flag.

Ok, that's a fair argument, but there is a certain symetricality about how Halo 3 ends and how Halo 1 began. I think Bungie made 3 big mistakes with how Halo 3 played out. I guess I just didn't think your criticism was one of them. I don't know how to do the spoiler thing or I'd let you know what my criticisms are. Can you tell me how? I still thought Halo 3 was a great game though...just a little disappointing in parts.

I can make the same argument about Infamous.

Nope there was alot more shown in the Infamous trailer then that of what was shown of Alan Awake. In Alan Awake it was basically just a man shown just standing there while they show how pretty the backrounds are. In Infamous you saw the main character and he had special poweres he uses so it was something to get excited about plus he was running all over the place.

Your style of posting has way too much speculation, hope, and opinion and most importantly assumptions. You always talk about things like they have already happened. For instance.

1. PS3 40GB PS3 increasing sales dramatically
2. PS3 having a better 2008 line-up then 360

OK, I did a little research on Infamous. Why would you put that on your list when all we have to go on for that game is hype and a bad trailer?

I agree, but with Alan Awake I serioulsy do not understand what all the hype is about. I guess if I didn't have many exclusive games on my system I would hype all "console" exclusive games to. Even if the trailer really didn't show what the game was all about.

I can make the same argument about Infamous.

Nope there was alot more shown in the Infamous trailer then that of what was shown of Alan Awake. In Alan Awake it was basically just a man shown just standing there while they show how pretty the backrounds are. In Infamous you saw the main character and he had special poweres he uses so it was something to get excited about plus he was running all over the place.

And no actual gameplay, just CGI...

360 has some great games next year, but I can't see any system sellers in the lineup.

PS3 has system sellers next year, while 360 had its big system seller this year instead.
