Actually, in most cases, Wifi is NOT the better option for online gaming, Wifi can have intermittent signals which can be the death of you in an online game, which basically means, if you get intermittent signals, that can produce lag in your game. (It will seem like lag anyway)

x360 fanboys should be used to it pay to play online but DLC is bs burnout Paradise charges for 1 car $5. People just dont buy it and stop paying for Live and it shall be free.

That's kind of how the market works....initial losses offset by overall profits over time... and they are still losing money like hell except when a Halo game is released. Come on now...PC expansion paks are have way, way more content then console dlc...way more content. I remember Baldur's gate Throne of Bhall $25-30 expansion had 40+ hours of content with new land chacters and story...it was basically a full continuation of the story.... Diablo Lord of Destruction... came with a full new entire act, new screen resolution modes, improved graphics, 2 new classes, new socketed weapons, new items, monsters, etc...it was worth every penny, and it was dirt cheap.. Blue shift for half-life playing the full game in they eyes of the security officers... star craft brood war a whole new campaingn, Bloodmoon for Morrowind contained an whole new landmass, new weapons, monsters, story, werewolves, and lore, and the list goes on! You can't compare full fledged expansions to Horse armor, deadspace customs, skate 2 $7.00 parks, $10 operation Ankorage rip off, or $5 multiplayer modes, these nickel and dime dlc kill full fledged expansions that we used to see for all pc games. There is nothing wrong with DLC. What's wrong is people's idiotic assumption that everything a developer puts out after a game is finished should be free or was left out of the game intentionally just to charge you.

I don't have a problem with well made DLC like The Lost and the damned, Knothole Island, etc. The shipped game came with more than enough content for any customer that boiugh the game to be satisfied if they decided not to buy the extra stuff. Yes, there is crap DLC being offered and you have the option not to buy it. Here's a hint: DON'T. But spare me the butthurt "I'm getting ripped off" nonsense. The developers don't owe you squat and you don't have to play it.

Cobblers, before the internet companies just used to release add on packs for games you bought down the shops.

I remember buying PC addon packs for the original Quake, user designed expansion levels and new skins for the original Doom before that.

If anything the fact that you can now get this stuff easier is an advantage, and at the end of it all... if you don't want it... don't buy it.
