The game is indeed fun, the story mode was easy even if you play it on vatern mode.i like online better. anyways i skipped that map, it had nothing to do with the game and no trophies so i skipped it and didnt even bother with it
You skipped the most interesting level of the campaign. That was the mission where the war started, it had everything to do with the game. If that scene never happened the game wouldn't exist(I know it would but not in the same scenerio).

meh i didnt pay that much attention to the story mode, i tried to finish it as soon as possible to get thr trophies lol and then head to online to start leveling up and play with friends.. story modes in shooter games are not important to me tbh :P
But I've got to admit - this game is one hell of a ride! I never really expected this military shooter to be something special. Before the whole "airport" incident, I wasn't even interested in this. I thought it would be like CoD4 (which I found terribly overpraised). Nonetheless, this game rocks! It tears apart the expectations. The graphics are very realistic and good. The sound is satisfying. The gameplay is presumably the best thing about this game - it's perfectly made and very comfortable. The MP is very addictive and Spec Ops is the thought of a genius! The only thing I wasn't fond of, was the campaign - it was surprisingly short and I didn't really like it. Anyhow, despite the disappointing campaign, I need to say that MW2 is the best military game of all time, crushing its poor prequel, CoD4 in every single way.NoRussian:? You bought a game for one level?!?

You bought a game for one level?!? Yeah, basically. It looked so cool. 8) But who cares, now that it's so good?
It's a good game, but the only thing that shocked me was how little evolution there was from COD4. I thought it would be as fresh as COD4. Still great, but not new enough to wow me. Absolutely do not regret my purchase though.

Eh? And no, it isn't. Especially not if the game turns out to be a true military diamond.hmmmm TC why do i get the feeling your that Propaganda_ guy. banned on your previous account? anyways its pretty stupid to buy a game only to play 1 mission

That mission starts the war...It wasn't just put in there to be controversial.
Ya know Ill be honest... MW2's campaign absolutly rocks. Yeah yeah yeah it would be nice to play the game for 20 hours as opposed to 6, but, it is gaming of the highest quality in every respect. I already can't wait to go back through it. grab the achievments and continue leveling my player up online. Anyone who says the game isnt worth 60 bucks either A. doesnt play online or B. is mentaly handicapped.
[QUOTE="enterawesome"]I thought No Russian was unneccasary and a blind grab from IW for attention towards their game from the media. It would have made a much better cinematic.NoRussianDid you even play the game? It's the reason for the Russian invasion. The mission was terrible so it's not surprising if he didn't play it.

Yeah, terrible in a sad way. It was a bit tragic to hear how all the innocent civilians cried for their life when you cut them down. :(
[QUOTE="SF_KiLLaMaN"]"No Russian" was probably the most boring mission I have ever played in a game. It was essential to the story though. It was also a plot twist that I saw coming.NoRussianYeah, because it was hard to see it coming... exactly. Americans don't exactly fit in with terrorists. And of course it had to be a misunderstanding, America can never do anything bad in a video game.

You need to play more games and read alot more books. No Russian is probably one of the best plot twists of all time... I put it up there w/ KOTOR. Overall the campaign was really hit or miss on every mission. Some parts I loved, and others I loathed.

[QUOTE="NoRussian"][QUOTE="SF_KiLLaMaN"] Games don't get banned in America and probably never will.IamLevel1Because games don't feature Americans massacring civilians. ;) You mean GTA? Or Saints Row that is made by an American dev team.

[QUOTE="Birdy09"]I lol'd at "Spec Ops was genius" ... what a small set of challenges? whoa never seen that before :roll:NoRussianSo, what could possibly compare to Spec Ops? Gears of War's Horde?
Spec Ops isn't that great. Many of them seem to just be slightly tweaked parts from the campaign. Now I haven't finished all of them but most of the ones I've played are like that.
And Horde is great, albiet different from Spec Ops.

Horde is terrible, compared to Spec Ops. Ugly, boring and full of glitches. Please Log In to post.
