It is a good picture. When people talk about the line up of the PS4 games, I always think in the back of my mind that Killzone will be the PS4s first major disappointment.

Killzone is a solid franchise. Although I'm sort of bored with the whole "shooter" thing at this point, it certainly was alot more interesting than the vast majority of other AAA budgeted shooters - especially Call of Duty. Battlefield was my favorite franchise this gen (just for the online, campaigns always sucked), but Killzone was probably 2nd having both a decent campaign and online. 

The new one looks like it will continue the same tradition. The only reason I'm not more hyped for Killzone is because I'm sort of bored with FPS/multiplayer gaming. I'm sure Battlefield 4 will suck me in (and that it will be more of the same), but I'm not sure I will look to Killzone for anything more than the campaign. I guess we have yet to see anything of the multiplayer, so maybe it will surprise me.

I would listen to it. Erotica is a cool as Hell poster. Good guy. But I know hei68 will just screw it up with his dumb bias and logic so there isn't much point. I have to read his crap. Sure as hell will not listen to it. Don't get me wrong. I kind of like hei68 because his trolling was original at one time. But why get more of it then I have too?

If the Xbox 720 really was going to be the more powerful system, Microsoft would have JUMPED at the opportunity to quell PS4 hype by releasing the specs as soon as humanly possibru.  Dev kits are out for both systems, so it's not like internally no one knows what the specifications will be.

 

The very fact that you are waiting for a show in April to hear about the thing means there are more deals to be inked before they can show the thing off.  In other words, hardware is not how MS sees getting the victory next generation and they only stand to lose hype if they come out now with their specs.

 

All Sony gave us was what really matters to gamers.  We saw games, we saw the base-line specification for the machine and we saw the controller.  That's it.  The fact that MS can't even clue you in on what they are doing right now should be a big azz ! 

In fact, I shouldn't even need to say it.  We are all acting under the same assumption except the hand full of Lems who are posting bull-shots and praying that the rest of the forum plays along with the "believe syndrome" you have been afflicted with.  Hell, MS can't even feed you a teaser screenie of their games because they are worried about the impact it will have..
