Like I said before, it's all whatever floats your boat. You can love your 360 as much as you like, you can't deny that the last couple years have been stellar for PS3. I'm definitely satisfied with the games that came out for PS3 in the last, what, 4 years? We aren't psychics so the only thing we can use to predict the future is the past. It's as simple as that ;).

Actually, that's not it. Did you buy an NGage in your endless quest to play every game? Likely not. Let me actually attempt to be serious for a moment here and I will do my best not to make a tldr response to the question on some people's minds: Why is everyone turning on the XBox right now? ..I mean, even people who have supported XBox for quite a while are just ripping MS to bits. It's not just some Cow vengeance thing at this point... So, the question does deserve an honest answer. The answer is how MS has treated you and how that has affected people's expectations of them going into the next gen. After all, one needs not look any further than the PS3s fall from grace early on to know that perception plays a very large role in people's attitudes towards a system. Hell, even the western based gaming press was giving the 360 a pass on the RRoD and disc scratching debacle because Sony seemed out of touch with a $600 behemoth on the shelves. Here's the thing, when you treat your customers like complete suckers, you get a black eye. Sony has only played catch up this entire gen, and I have to give them credit for almost getting there. But in the end, its the 360 that has more games. Its the 360 that has more A+ games. Why whould Microsoft get a black eye for giving Bungie their independance? Are you for real? Its the complete opposite, rather than force Bungie to do Halo after Halo, they gave them freedom and kept the devs who actually wanted to work on more Halo games. (PS. Sony have engaged in the exact same sort of sponsership deals for their franchises, get used to it).

Unlike the idiots on this board, I won't make a decision until I actually see the choices. Having gamed solely on the PS2, I had every intention of going PS3 until I saw both reveals and could see that the 360 was much better.

Actually the fact is Microsoft does not care what Sony has done and vice versa. And if Microsoft was worried they would of release something as quickly as possible. So regardless of what a fanboy says in a forum it is business as usual at all the console companies.

Besides. Microsoft has to rent a place out to do the conference. They have to plan it out. Do the set-up. Get the demos ready. That does take time and effort you know. Only Nintendo are so tight in the ass that they will stand in a white room and mumble like a drunk aunt who overdosed. Sony and Microsoft acually has events. The day Sony or Microsoft has Joe Blow holing a camcorder while Kaz or Mattrick read off a projector is the day I go PC only.

I disagree with your 1st statement.

Both Sony and MS are very interested in what the competition is doing because NEITHER wants to be left behind or get blown out next gen. As long as they are close to each other in features and abilities then its not such a big deal but if 1 gets the upper hand the way Sony had it during the PS2 era then its game over for the other.

Lol, you Playstation guys really love to rub it in. Yeah, Durango specs ain't so great so far. And yeah, they might stay that way. But ya never know. It could change. There was a dual GPU rumor a long ways back. Although I know it is EXTREMELY unlikely I'm holding on to a kernel of hope that they'll anounce the next Xbox does in fact have a 1.2 tflop GPU in it... but not one... two of them! Who knows, they could go that way because of yield concerns (Could be easier to manufacture two weaker ones than it is one powerful one). That would change everything instantly. Would go from having 12 CUs in it to a total of 24. Yeah, I admit it's a long shot. I don't really expect it to happen. But if things do stay the same I guess I might switch to PS4 although I'll be far from thrilled about it.
