I just want to dispel the rumour the KZ2 online is dead.

Check out this, it's straight from KZ.Com and it says that therre have been 10,000 players over the last week and 10,000 players over the last night, that isn't a dead community to me, I easily found a game when I played just a few hours ago, and It was definetly a nice change of pace from all the arcade shooters I have been playing lately, People also forget about KZ2's epic campign and it's overall brilliance so I just wanted to share this with you all, thank you.

I haven't played that is about five months. Good to know there a few left.

Yeah, campaign was the best among the FPS's this gen. But I don't play KZ2 MP because I'm all sucked by TF2 :P

KZ2 online was/is dead?

Hadent played the game for months, been busy with new titles. Tried it last saturday and it was full of matches to play.

That demo just came out and Killzone 2 has been out for almost a year and a half.

Epic campaign? The campaign sucked. Multiplayer seemed okay, but I only played a couple rounds and never really got into it.DragonfireXZ95

Yeah but as long as there are enough people to get on an play than its fine with me. I play Killzone 2 every now and then and have no issues with finding a desired match.

The SP sucked. And the MP isnt enjoyable because of the terrible controls. Im surprised this game is still alive.

Saying the community is dead isnt fair. Saying its dying is fair. People in SW love to bring up Killzone 2 but how many actually play it?

Remember the first month when Killzone 2 came out? Look at it now. And how can there be 10,000 last week and 10,000 last night? Was last night national Killzone 2 night?

I think singleplayer was great. And I got bored of multiplayer in 2 weeks.

I did try to get into a match 4-5 months ago and could not find a match I wanted, which was the type that cycles through all of the game types. I have had the itch to play some KZ2 online recently. With 10,000 players, I would think that Ibe able to find a match.

I loved kz2 single player. It felt more realistic, and satisfying to kill the helghast. As opposed to the godawful mw2 campaign which felt really arcadey, but of course this is my opinion.
