[QUOTE="GrannyGoat"]who cares about awards..the true test of a game is if it keeps gamers coming back for more. kz 2 failed epicly.

Well your definition of "epic fail" is rather funny. A game that is called one of the best FPSes this generation, got a great score all over the board, made a big profit, (hence why they can make a third), and have a large fanbase, granted not as big as the Halo one. how is this epic fail? No.. epic fail is the foundation of your reasoning.
well yes it is a fail because kz2 was supposed to be ps3s big multi shooter that would rival halo. halo gets ripped all the time here but it obviously has something right to keep people playing for so long, while kz2 was lacking. the numbers dont lie.
ps see the numbers above. it does NOT have a large fanbase, a very small one actually
Online players doesn't equal fanbase. I love the game but I don't play it online anymore, I finished the game thrice, maxed my online ranks, and moved on with my life, as do many others.
And asI said before, and returning to the topic of this thread, the online is not "dead". I can still hop on and find a full lobby without problems, even without paying for the online.
Also Going by your logic, the movie Avatar is miles better that classics like "metropolis", "M", "Burned by the sun", "brazil", or many other fantastic independent productions made today etc... because Avatar has a larger fanbase, and made more money.
But you're a raging fanboy so whatever I or anyone else says, it will pass into you ear and out the next :)
