I think MS proved something to us this month

That they can cater to the core gamers and the casual gamers at the same time

First The Gunstringer comes out and scores an 8.5 ( playing it now and it's a fun experience )

Then Gears 3 releases and of course scores a 9.5 and is contender for GOTY

I don't see why they can't keep that same game plan for this gen and the next

Though MW3 is far more important to MS than any 360 exclusive, taking into account how much it sells on that platform (more than any exclusive), how popular it is on XBL and how it was sponsored by 360 at CoD XP.

Is it possible that devs know that the Xbox 720 is about to be announced and they are shifting their focus to the new hardware? That would certainly explain the lack of more AAA MS titles. donalbane

there is more than two and have been more than 2 in the past and if you don't like them then I'm sure you wouldn't buy a 360

A racing game and a Halo rehash. You say Kinect so PS3 owners could say Move. And I haven't a clue what superior multiplat(inum?) experiences means.

Sorry, insofar as gaming is concerned I don't see MS or Sony having much of a reason to brag over the other.

It has been a slow year no doubt and I can blame that on the release of Kinect but ppl act like they never released exclusives for core gamers...but we will still get 2 exclusives that are AAA and some Kinect titles that hopefully will be good....I am saying this month could be a sign of good things to come

Considering how far between the core game releases are (and the fact that they only consist of Halo, Gears, Fable, and Forza), I think Microsoft has proved they are focusing on the casual gamers now.
