Not really. Exclusives are a part of it, but multiplats are far more prevalent in the gaming landscape.

Why do Lems complain about mandatory installs? Why do Lems complain about 10 hour patch downloads? The cows thought the price ws reasonable at the time. The cows don't mind an occasional install for better performance. If only the fansboys of a system are allowed to make arguments against that system, they may as well close the forum, because there will be zero threads. The whole point of SysWars is to have a place to argue over systems... which is done by pointing out the advantages of the system you favor and the DISADVANTAGES of the competition. If every system has free online, $60 a year online is a DISADVANTAGE. Why the hell wouldn't a cow talk about that? If one system gets basically all the same multiplats PLUS 3-4 times as many exclusives as another, that's a DISADVANTAGE for the system with no exclusives. Why the hell wouldn't cows talk about it? OBVIOUSLY the supporters of a system aren't the ones talking about that systems disadvantages...

Then one can also consider that of those 8 AE+ XBLA games, they're mostly third party... like Braid... and Limbo... Castle Crashers... Castlevania:HoD... So SOME of those 10 exclusives on 360 will stay on 360, but some will hit PS3 eventually anyway. Just saying... even including XBLA/PSN, 360's having a worse year. Less 'core' retail exclusives. Less support for their motion peripheral. I think the only thing they are proving is that they are becoming casual. They clearly care more about Kinect. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if their next gen system was built around the Kinect 2.0, targetting moms who want fitness games and games for their kids.
