[QUOTE="BPoole96"][QUOTE="PinnacleGamingP"] it does ;)psx_warrior
I haven't played a CoD game in over a year and I am conifdent that if I were to play I would be one of the top players in the lobby. The aim assist is an absolute joke so there really is no getting used to the controls
I have been playing Modern Warfare 3 online for a while now, and I can tell you that you have no clue what you are talking about. I gamed on pc for two years in the fps genre without touching a controller. Then I bought another ps3 after having sold it two years ago. I can tell you right now I sucked so bad at aiming for a while that I hit everything except my target, and I play with aim assist always turned off. I played Resistance 3 and COD MW 3 for a month, and I've gotten used to using subtle movements with my right thumb to aim. It helps that the analog controls are fluid and easy to handle. I downloaded Crysis for my ps3 and played it. The analog controls aren't worth a crap!!! Aiming down my sight helps a little, but even then, I struggle to maintain control of Nomad. I've gotten better at controlling him, but it seems that the feel of the analog controls really matters in a first or 3rd person shooter. I have zero problems actually aiming in COD MW 3. The only trouble I have is when I'm playing the demo to KZ 3 is when the target is moving around in that game. I can't aim properly. If I'm moving, I can maintain my aim on the target. It just takes a lot of practice to get analog controls nailed down, but it's not impossible as you say.So what you're saying is that you have trouble aiming on other games but not MW3? Basically proving my point that MW3 has excessive ai assist.
And note that I have played console games for a good 18 years of my life and just recently got into PC. Using a DS3 isn't an issue for me and I can easily go back and forth between kb/m and a DS3
