It's going to be over $150 that's for sure. I'm guessing $199 to $250 USD.I guess I will be waiting then won't I. ;) I am happy with my DS Lite anyways, so I won't mind waiting.[QUOTE="TheGreatOutdoor"]
If it is over $150, I will not buy it. I will just wait for the price to drop to $150 or less.

I'm guessing $199 to $250 USD.Hmm, I would agree with that probable price range... but there's a bit of weirdness, in that, that will mean its priced higher than their home console, (even at $199 since I expect the Wii to drop to $149 some time in the next 6-9 months)[QUOTE="TheGreatOutdoor"]

[QUOTE="HarlockJC"]With the line up it has...Sure wouldUCF_KnightBut we're not even certain of its lineup yet. It's unclear whether some of the games shown off were just tech demos (such as Metal Gear) or parts of games actually under development. Is there a list of confirmed games floating around somewhere? These were all confirmed games. Nintendo released a press release which listed all games for the 3DS under development, and it included all the stuff shown off at E3. So don't worry, all those titles, they aren't really tech demoes, they're actually coming to this handheld, makings its launch library perhaps the greatest in a long long time.
Of course not. Especially cuz the game list i read was just a bunch of remakes that i already completed on previous consoles.
hm...................................... wasnt there a handheld that got bashed for the same reason Yeah... because that's all it ever got. How mahy remakes is the 3DS getting? MGS3? Star Fox 64? Ocarina of Time? That's three. How many original games? Resident Evil Revelations? Saints Row? KId ICarus Uprising? Mario Kart 3DS? Assassin's Creed? Animal Crossing? Nintendogs+Cats? Yeah, it has a few remakes. Fortunately, unlike the PSP, the remakes isn't all that it's gonna get.I always held back with handhelds, i ws on the edge to buy a DS for zelda mainly, but never did
and i thank god for that, since now i can get a 3DS instead, with next gen visuals, all DS games i want (Zelda x, FF, Crono Trigger, Clash of Heroes, Okamiden etc etc) and hte new 3DS games of course in 3D, like OOT, RE etc
Cant wait, price means nothing to me right now, i have saved enough by not buying GB, DS, PSP and so i can spend up to 1000$ on my 3DS !!!!
Pretty much, and considering its a Handlheld,Not worth it.No, I would never pay that much for a gaming device. I wasn't too keen paying $299 for a PS3 and 360. IMO $399 is just pushing it.

ZippySlappy
I paid 600$ for PS3, so why not 400$ for a 3DS, and PS3 had almost nothing i wanted much at launch, 3DS has like 20 games of the AAA-AAAA king for me (for handheld standards)
No way. As for the iphone it's overpriced anyway.racing1750
The problem with iPhone is that it is not a gaming system and does not nearly have any games i want
it would be like a handheld version of the ps3 when it first came out, but no i wouldnt buy it i woould just wait a couple years plus there would be alot more good games
I doubt it would go so high, but yes I would. I bought a launch PS3, this isn't too much of a stretch.
I wonder why people keep pointing out that it's a handheld. Yeah, it's handheld, but it's also a console. The differentiation is handheld console and home console, not console and handheld.
That being said, being inferior technologically speaking doesn't say anything about the quality of the system. I still personally think that the DS is the best console this gen.
Never. That's too much even for a console.
I don't think that will happen. I would guess $149.99 or $199.99.
Yes I would.
If you see how much cell phones like The Iphone and Droid X goes for then this is a bargin.
You would buy a $400 handheld...........LOL. Nintendo better learn from Sony's mistakes. Sony builds this awesome console with everything but only one problem......it's too expensive for the non-hardcore Sony fanboys to buy. A $400 handheld is the equivalent of a $600 PS3 at launch. The 3DS will fail big time at that price. Please Log In to post.
