Only non-gamers would pass up this deal.

EvanTheGamer

You mean people who like to burn money would pay that much.

Nintendo has rumored that the 3DS "be online all the time." Hinting at their own 3G network or something. If may be a phone too.

You read it wrong. Both Nintendo and Sony are looking onto 3G services because it would equal better online gaming, and better online features overall compared to what the DS and PSP offers now. I'm pretty sure you won't have to be online all the time.

Very unlikely for Nintendo to price the 3DS at this price going with Nintendo track records of previous hardware pricing compare to it competitiors. Anyway if they do indeed price the 3DS at $399 then I will most likely passed on this one regardless of their gaming lineup.

Yes I would.

If you see how much cell phones like The Iphone and Droid X goes for then this is a bargin.

You do have a point...but $300 for a handheld is asking waaaay too much. I mean, the PSP Go for $250 was a massive rip-off. As impressive as the 3DS is, the most I'm willing to spend on the thing is $200.
