[QUOTE="godzillavskong"]Hmm, wasn't aware of that. Didnt' know the PSP had a controller?? tormentos
The PSP doesn't have a controller, the PSP does have a home button which let you quite games, and bring you to the XMB,since it launched 1 year before the xbox 360 did,is very easy to see where sony got the idea of a home button for the controller.

I was talking in terms of the placement of the button, and the purpose of it for navigating it to the dashboard, which is the same on both, not to mention trophies being used, shortly after Microsoft had success with achievements. Just saying all these companies take something from each other, and I don't think any of them are exempt from doing so.

you do know that cellphones had always had a home button and they have been around alot longer than the PSPgamer-adam1
Well i did not claim sony invented the home button, but Cell phones are a different market, they let you talk as well and you can do that on the PSP,unless Sky is bring,is not the same or close. Fact is between MS and sony on the gaming market sony did it first which was my point.

Trophies are a copy of achievements no one can't deny that.

And if it wasn't for PSN Xbox Live wouldn't be anywhere where it is today either. See competition is good, but it still doesn't change the fact that MS has no reason to charge for online MP. None at all, and considering that PSN is a REALLY good service and strong competitor, and on top of that it's FREE, well that REALLY makes people question the value of xbox live. Some people don't like to question things, other people do.

What I find funny is that MS is bringing XBL over to PC, basically they are renaming GFWL "Xbox Live PC", butthey are bringing all the avatars and other features ofLive (cross chat ect..) to the PCxboxlive. But here is the kicker, it's FREE on PC! Yes Xbox Live on PC has NO charge at all, and yet it's the SAME EXACTTHING as the 360 xbox live. How can you justify MScharging one group for xbox live but not theother? You can't.

I think what's going to happen next gen is that MS is going to drop the online fee, some people think Sony is going to charge but considering how FREE online is the industry standard (everyone has free online besides MS) I think the next xbox will have free online MP to compete.

Oh and go play on Steam, it's FREE and totally destroys the argument for paying for online MP.

I don't see them going free, but I wouldn't go against that argument either. I think they could probably go free and just have a few adds here and there, heck they place those adds as it is. So remove the XBL fee and place a few adds on the dashboard to recoup any of the $$ that they may lose.
