[QUOTE="nmaharg"][QUOTE="SeanBond"][QUOTE="taikthebate"] [QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="fighttothedeath"]ike to play sitting on my couch not infront of my computer which can't run those as good as my 360 anyways, so they PC versions are worthless to meSeanBond
Because you can't hook a PC up to a TV and play from teh couch. It's physically impossible, just like you absolutely can not hook a controller up to a PC.
Honestly, if you're going to go through all the trouble of hooking up your PC to your TV, and using one of the 360 USB controllers for the computer, you're essentially playing a console. The only difference is that you traded a less expensive, easier to use console for a more expensive, more complex one.
Which one's better? That's a value judgement. As someone already pointed out, you buy a PS3/360 game, you know it'll work on your system. You buy a PC game, you can have conflicts (Vista incompatibilty, DX versions, graphics card, processor, etc.). This isn't to say that either one is a better way to play games, but some people like knowing that what they buy will always work on the system they have. Others like to tinker with their system and improve it, so that it will play the games they have better, and be able to potentially play games they haven't bought yet.
But really, even if the PC and 360 shared all games, there'd still be an argument for owning each one.
No there isn't the pc is better flat out. Looks better, plays better, controls better and is completely customizable. No reason to game on a console over a PC if all the games were the same.
*sighs* Really? So you're telling me that all gaming PCs run Bioshock better than the 360? You're telling me that all people who play videogames prefer kb/m to a controller (this is where the "controls better" comes from, I'm assuming?). You're telling me everyone who plays videogames would rather keep their PC streamlined and running quickly (weekly maintenance, defragging, deleting unused files, etc.) than just let their PC go to hell, and pop in a 360 disc?
Be serious. Just because you prefer it, doesn't mean everyone does. Some people don't have any interest in "customizing" their system; they just want to play games. As I said earlier, just because you have enough knowledge of computers, time, desire, etc.,doesn't mean everyone does.
No thats not what I am saying. I am saying with proper hardware these things are possible. And just because people are too lazy maintain there PCs doesn't mean it isn't better. And by controls I ment whatever you want. There are people using the Wii controller on the PC, although the thing is stupid and sucks.
And if you had a great gaming PC next to a 360 with the same exact games running, then yes most would choose the PC.
