give us some examples then. besides "xbox stop" "xbox ff".using hand gestures that are understood to facilitate a function. Navigation thru menus, and also the ability to move around when on cam and be followed, cant do that with PSEYE, it doesnt move, just saying.

One difference is, the developer had to do all of that. With Kinect, the system is already in place, making it easier on the dev.
Just like how live is easier on them than making their own system for online ps3 games. Because of that, I think more dev's will use it. I'd put money on it.

They lost alot of market share, and they arent about to even out the market share because last I looked since the 360 slim has been released it has outsold the PS3 by over 700,000 units. Inferior console with no games? yes it happens, people didnt want to dev for the PS3 because of its architecture in the beginning, thats why the 360 has games like Dead Rising and such.

Ok here's a better answer. They don't make games on the wii because the hardware won't allow them to make their game the way they want it. Your dead rising example is weak since dead rising 2 will be on the ps3. A whole library of PS3/360 games kills your argument. They don't want to make it for Kinect not because it's a bad device, but because it won't work the way they want it to work. I see this happening for a lot of games. If the 360 is released one year before the PS3 and had a head start with about 8 million. but now 4 to 5 years later the gap is only 3.5 million who has sold better?

Yea I know I would had put it more harshly but I'm not getting modded again. I really have to think about how I word things sometimes because the sarcasm or humor don't get interpret right and the trolls on these forums just love to moderate, I think that's a backlash of the tight rules on these boards, the trolls always win :P
anyways my connection is a local network in my building i pay around 100 Dkr.(14$) a month. and its great some times it depends on how many are using it but for the most part I get at least 25Mb/s downloads nothing less it only gets worse when i try to connect to a server in the US or Japan. So I'm ready for digital distribution, if only the download servers you hook up to had greater bandwith :P

you know you sound like a failing MS PR rep? thats great that its got 3 radio shack microphones built into it, what good is that going to do? that is, game wise i can't think of anything that would necessitate using 3 microphones at once. unless you want to play singstar with you and 3 friends sitting in front of your camera....

I guess turn the xbox off, turn it on, ff movies, rw movies, and im sure it will have alot more implementation. I dont think I sound like a failing MS rep since Kinect is doing better in regards to Move in preorders and the buzz is definitely more for the Kinect than Move.

I don't let the moderation get me down to much. I say what needs to be said. If someone reports me for telling them the truth it doesn't hurt me. How are my points invalid? Do you have the world wide numbers or are you sticking with NPD and VGCharts estimations? You know VGCharts says the 360 now has a 10 million unit lead over the PS3. How did a 3.6 million gap turn into 10 million in a month?What other points are invalid? The ones you ignore or the ones you respond to but don't prove wrong? Was my Wii analogy for Kinect wrong? Okay then. The PSEye has a four-microphone array that samples at 48 kHz and Sony has software for voice recognition.sorry there is no eye in that video and no mention of PS Eye.

well there is alot more to voice recognition than you think, the ability to do it in a room that is big is very hard to do as it has issues picking up your voice, yet MS has came up with an implementation called Buzzing which scans couches and things in the room and uses them as placers as you may say to pick up your voice. The reason SOny isnt on the forefront with this is because they dont have the software that can make it work and work all the time, MS is bold enough to go ahead and make it work, and guess what, you might not give a crap, but casuals seem to do, and they will pay money, When Sony starts to do stuff like this let me know, it still cant even implement Cross talk chat, IT CANT MAKE IT WORK!!! MS is the leader with this innovation and will continue to be.

I own a pseye and let me tell you, it is very bad tech. It has very little accuracy which is why sony invented this glow stick tech so that the camera can lock onto something. I would certainly hope that kinect is better GunSmith1_basicof course it is, thats why they are more apt at innovation, they actually can make it work and do things.
