They didn't put it in because its a POS game. This is probably the first time I fully agree with IGN on something.

Any fan of the MGS series shouldn't like MGS4. It was a shambles of a game and one that disappointed a lot of MGS fans who wanted to see snake in HD. MGS3 is the best one in the series for me. Followed dangerously close by MGS1

I dont know what the hell you're somking, im a huge MGS fan and I loved MGS4. Wasn't the best game in the series, but wasn't "shambles"
Hipster gamers.....Its not as good as the old ones, blah blah blah.
MGS4 was amazing, and definatly deserved to be on that list, especially since Peace Walker was voted in....
One per series....
Add on that fact that IGN first to give a review by a week, having an early exclusive review to get hits..... It clearly show that they had an agreement with konomi for the review. Wait so you're telling me Konami paid IGN to give MGS4 a 10? In that case, Konami better have some huge *** pockets since they had to bribe 40 different sites or so. And really? We're pulling the bribery excuse? Doesn't change the fact that the second opinion from Greg Miller agrees with the original review and MGS4 was rated #1 PS3 game etc... No way did Konami pay them to do that, that's just a ridiculous suggestion. Haters gonna hate, GOAT (Game of all time) is GOAT :)Doesn't change the fact that IGN praised as one of the finest gaming experiences OF ALL TIME, adding that they would have given it 11/10 if possible.

The mgs plot that has the man with possessed by a hand but not really is the loser.

I wouldint call it logic just more simple. SO yea MGS3 has a more simple and straight forward plot then the other MGS,but that doesint make it better.

imo I still think MGS4 is a better game then 3. I dont know how the hand thing makes anything different. It sure didint bug me.
Just had to add:
He wasn't posessed by the hand, that was explained near the end. When he threw off the coat, his hand turned out to be cybernetic. Ocelot spread that rumor because he wanted people to think he was under the will of Liquid.
No one paid anyone, they just layed the ground work with each other to get more pay out of the review. Konomi get higher chances to sell their game due to a great review, IGN get more hit on it's site due to many people coming to read the review. They are many cases where this happens, like PC gamers review of Dragon Age 2. It's why companies allow exclusive early reviews.Doesn't change the fact that IGN praised as one of the finest gaming experiences OF ALL TIME, adding that they would have given it 11/10 if possible.

Just had to add:
I think I already explain I understand that.....It's just the fact that they dragged the idea from MGS2 so long it ridiculous. It obvious by logic that that can't happen, but the character of the game believed it... At lease when the boss was playing double agent.....It made sense.
At least you can put two and two together with the other crazy stuff.Any sane person would put GTA IV in the top five. AC2 and Brawl should at least be in the top 50, certainly nowhere near the top ten.
And placing TF2 below Modern Warfare absolutely slays me.
to me no it is not in my top 100.
i hated the poopy humor and the smoking monkies and the story and the one shot kill tranq gun given to you on level one but to leave it off a top 100 list is pretty crazy.
it was still a top quality game regardless of my personal opinion.
