Sucks I haven't played the whole series but as much as 7 is hated, its still better than the other ones I played so yeah, until I play 6, its #1 on my list.

I'm not as well versed in the Final Fantasy saga as I'd like... but I would like to play 6, especially after this list... plus what I did play of 9 seemed like an amazing game.

I would rank 7 over 8 any day. 7 gets lots of hate but atleast its level up and character progression is not absolutely broken like 8s. Completely destroys all challenge when you figure it out. Realistically, why are you punished for leveling up and why is there items that gives you auto limit, invincibility, 0 defense on enemies not to mention you can literally overpower Squall within the first 5 hours of the game and never look back.

I agree with almost everything else. I think Final Fantasy IV should be the second and Final Fantasy VII the third. Final Fantasy X should be the eleventh, just before Final Fantasy XI. The lack of a world map was the stupidest idea ever.

I never played 6 so I cant judge,but I am happy 7 made it at least to second. Its the first jrpg I ever played so it holds a special place in my heart.

I disagree with8 being one of the worst but I damn, I think the idea that 8 is better than 7 to be absolutely crazy. 8 was inferior in terms of almost everything.

meh ill never have the time to. I never called myself a uber ff fan,but I like the series. The reasion my name is ff94 is because I couldint think of a name at the time and I just made it up. I would change it but i dont know how. i also ran into to many spoilers to enjoy it.
The story, the setting, the characters, the enemies, the battle system... why do I have to justify why I liked it more than VII? I thought and still think VII is an incredibly overrated game in the FF series... and games, especially like XI never get the recognition they deserve.
This is like telling me I'm "wrong" for preferring broccoli to cauliflower because I think cauliflower tastes terrible.

I think Ultima IV is more important but VII is the better game. I actually like Serpents Isle better than The Black Gate, and when I mention Ultima VII, I mean both parts.
