IGN's top 100 [Full List]

This list sucks.Like seriously,IGN?

Pretty poor list, although i'm happy AC2 is pretty high up, not so happy that Uncharted 2 is below Fallout 3 although i'll admit i hated Fallout 3 because RPGs aren't my most favourite genre so that can slide. Demons Souls at 100??? Come on...JohnF111

Fallout3 > Halo Reach. Problem lemmings?

Fallout 3 > Starcraft 2. Problem hermits?

Fallout 3 > Uncharted 2. Problem cows?

Im glad to see Assassin's Creed 2 in the top 10. Alot of my favourite games this gen are on the list. I don't think alot of gmaes deserved their positions, but still, decent list.

Quite possibly the worst list I have ever seen. Just the fact that Wii Sports and DJ Hero are on it is embarrassing enough, but above Demon's Souls as well? :?

mood no not any game is close to the mood of demon's souls. What are you talking about? The story isn't the focus in this game even if it's presented very well.

I have nothing wrong with IGN stating their opinion(s), it just seems really contradictory to their earlier opinions. I have this feeling if IGN were to look back at this list at the real end of this generation, they would be shocked too. Blabadon

Very, very, mad that Guild Wars isn't there.

It's is basically the 2nd popular MMO after WoW.

Looking at the list made me realize I do play and enjoy multiplats more than exclusives.

That is the single worst list I've ever seen in my entire life.

Angry Birds, Mirror's Edge, Far Cry 2, Borderlands, Shadow Complex, Viva Pinata, DJ Hero, SSHD, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Wii Sports Resort, Tetris are better than Demon's Souls, MGS, Vanquish, Halo 3, Just Cause 2, etc.?

Weird and lolworthy, just like most things Ign does. Demon's Souls is inferior to Heavy rain? Heck, Crysis is inferior to Modern Warfare?

I don't know why but seeing Mass Effect 2 there at #1 just gives me that unusal feeling that it doesn't deserve it.

Obligatory "OMG, some by-committee Top 100 list from a mainstream gaming source doesn't perfectly mirror my own! What a failure!"

It's a far better list than I'd ever have expected IGN capable of. A few definite head-scratchers (Demon's Souls and Crysis in the 90s, Fable 2 in the 60s) and it rates some pretty bland-but-popular-because-people-don't-seem-to-know-any-better games too high for my tastes (BioShock, AC2, CoD, Heavy Rain, anything from Rockstar), but overall it's about as good as one could expect, with even some nice surprises like Limbo and World of Goo ranking relatively high (instead of the "gee, we better throw the indie-types a bone so we can pretend to be credible" bottom-of-the-list you usually see).

Also, lulz at not only Mass Effect 2, but Fable 2 ranking higher than The Witcher 2.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. How can Mass Effect 2 be on top? I loved ME1, I think I even gave it a 10/10 review, but ME2 bored me to death before I even finished it. And where is Mount and Blade?!?!? Come on people...

Far Cry 2 doesn't deserve to be on that list. That game was complete garbage.

How RDR beat SMG2 is beyond me. Also, I agree with some positions, disagree with others.
