im so tired of hearing COD4>Halo 3!!!!

I guess its cool for hating on things that are popular. Im not saying call of duty isnt but, its not as mainstream as halo. If it wasnt for the series, xbox 360 probably wouldnt even exist. so Halo 2>call of duty 2>halo 3>call of duty 4MRwhatsisname

Halo 3 is far superior to COD4.

Halo 3 actually has competetant offline MP. COD4 can't even do more than one person per screen with System link and you can't custimize your perks with Split screen. Which leaves only online MP, which COD4 does fairly well, until you realize all you do is see people using martyrdom and M16's. It is far from balanced.

Halo CE was really the only good one in the series. I thought Halo 2 was amazing but after I finished th campaign and played MP with my friends I realized how weak it was.

The only weak part of CoD aside from the crappy spinoffs was 3 and from what I hear that wasn't even bad.

12. Better gameplay mode
13. Better singleplayer in terms of gameplay and 'Woah' moments. Gotta give 'epic' moments to Halo 3 though.

CoD4 is a over-rated game in mind.. Its multiplayer is nothing new with a leveling system that has been done before.. And its singleplayer was on rails shooter I played 10 years ago.. Where barrels were indusctruable pieces that never moved no matter if a tank hit it.. Inability to open doors, the inability to hop picket fences, endlessly respawning enemies, weak AI, cheating AI that only focus on you 75% of the time when your ina mass group of guys.. Even when your behind cover and your team mates arn't alot of times the enemy will STILL TARGET YOU.. Story is the typical Tom Clancy spheel nothign new.. Graphics are great in some parts, specially the assasination mission..

But in some places the graphisc look awful.. This is at max settings on my pc at 1680 x 1050, outside the first mission looks awful..

I played a round of HQ last night on XBL and offcourse drew the worst map in the game. Shipment. I had 140 kills in what, the game is 15min long? Maps like that dont even belong in a game like CoD.

you really must not play the game much then, i barly ever see marty and that is very easy to deal with

m16? really? the most common gun is the m4carbine and that isnt even used by 1/2 the people

i prefer the M14 myself

I used so play a ton. But then I realized I only kept playing to reach another level, not because it was better than Halo 3 online.

M16 is by far the most effective gun in the game. Long range, red dot sight, and one three round burst always kills with stopping power. Way too powerful. I would complain about the horrible hit detection but they've patched up most of that though.

COD4 is far too overrated.

The only thing more pathetic than Halo 3 fanboys is Call of Duty 4 fanboys.

*That's just MP though. In SP, COD4 is the biggest steaming pile of **** this gen to actually be called "great" by people.
