I discribed it in the sence of the general game play..picking up droped items, targeting enemies, switching spells.., but Diablo IMO is much faster than Dark alliance was...while there both the same Core gameplay DA is at a much slower pace than Diablo 1 and 2 were that i remember. D2 packed on MANY enemies at one time, while DA only had a few enemies on screen..

note: i dont really remember play Dark alliance much, but i remember a few things but nothing much of the game.

I don't remember everything either from DA, but I do remember some areas were packed with enemies. Like 20+.

Yes but how do you aim the skills? In Diablo targeting is very importent an not possible with an analog stick. Liek I said they would have to completely change the gameplay, all the skills would have to be passive or ur use some kind of auto aim.

the same way they did it in "dark Alliance", which at the moment I forget. I haven't played that game in a long while.. I'll get back to ya! :P

They fired in the direction you were pointing didn't they?

Can't remember 100%. But I do remember that it was only similar to Diablo on the surface. Both I and II were shallow and horrible.

It wouldn't work man. Give it up. Diablo uses alot of kitting and on the fly tactics. Those don't work well on a controller.

If it does happen, you know it will be all Activision's doing and Blizzard will want nothing to do with it

yah you could make it on a console but it wouldn't work nearly as well, anyone who has played Diablo 2 alot, not just played a bit on normal and think they have the game figured out will say it has to be done on a mouse and keyboard. Switching skills is crucial, some builds more than others, try playing a martial arts assassin with a gamepad, anyone who played one would laugh at the thought of it on a gamepad.

[QUOTE="MikeE21286"]I'd say that since it's "Actiblizzion" now, that we probably see a console version, maybe 6 months or so after the release of the PC version, and it'll probably be subtitled.....Diablo III : (whatever)Hewkii

except that Activision is owned by Vivendi.

you get the point obviously....

I can't remember either. But I would never say the games were shallow and horrible. The story was, and the "upgrading" wasn't very deep, but the core gameplay was as fun as a game could get.
