Forum invasion is the term we use for posts which are disruptive, only intend to annoy / call out users, or are repetitive.Verbtex

you missed a part in your quote above: "Behavior that disrupts the Service for other users, intentional or not, is prohibited."

And this can be broadly interpreted, hence the part that says "This includes, but is not limited to"

that's why it says includes but not limited to.  If all you do is go into threads and post about your plasma and then call everyone peasants and derail the thread, then that probably falls under disruptive posting/forum invasion.  Or you could just go to moderation clarification thread and ask about it so you know how to avoid it next time.  It sounds like these new TOU changes aren't the reason you've been moderated in the past

Everyone gets BS moderations... That's life. At the end of the day, it's still an individual on the other end, who is making the call... We're not always going to agree. I've had  plenty  of moderations, and I don't think i've ever complained about them.

I don't agree with all the ToU changes. Still, seeing it in action, may change my mind. I've definitely noticed a slight dip in the use of insults :P

Context is never king when it comes to moderations here on Gamespot, I've actually got modded for saying "Lol Sniper thread" for disruptive posting, I can go down the last two pages of this thread and find at least a dozen posts that are actually more "disruptive" than what I got modded for.

Some mods here shouldn't even be mods, actually I can only think of one atm whom I won't say say there name, but if you catch them on a "oh a I had bad day at work who wants to get modded" attitude get's scott free here on GS. The sad thing is that mod actually said that, really wish I took a screen shot of that post and showed it to an Admin, cause that type of attitude from a mod shouldn't be accepted.

Fyi sorry for the rant at the end, context is usually the key in what is said but it can also be a individuals version of what they thought what was their version of context is what can and will screw over a lot of posters here.

I just came off a suspension for violating. The real kicker here is, I was warned and suspended at the exact same time. Never before have I been on a message board where you get moderated twice in a minute. Why did I even get the warning if they were going to suspend me anyway the exact same minute? It might be time for a new board.

I've been thinking about going back to ign. But the people I've met in system wars will be missed.
