Whoever thought of the new ToU and this new layout should be fired. I think I'm going to throw up.

The new layout is certainly subjective. What issues do you have with the new TOU I mostly wonder?

Far too slow on my 1 GB RAM temp system, hopefully my main with 3 GB is better.

Same. I think many aren't missing it because site traffic is so low. But I'm betting come E3 when the boards are exploding a lot more people will be complaining if GS hasn't brought it back by then.

Before you leave: PS Vita is a piece of shit, 3DS won the handheld war, and I can't wait for the time when the Wii U starts kicking ass so that deep down you know you must eat crow.

I don't get why people want to leave... Don't we all post for the conversation etc? The new site will take some getting used to like any change, but I'm just not seeing what's so bad, especially in the face of all the new streamlined GOOD features...

Actually it applies to the whole site. But it is not as bad as it looks.

If we are to grow as a community, we must hold some level of respect towards each other and in doing so we must be able to communicate like proper human beings.

That would explain why this site is bleeding users then. Everyone went to IGN after this awful redesign. And the only thing GameSpot was good for was reading all the troll posts. Now it's just lame.

So many issues with this site it's unbearable, let's go down the list

*Poor staff, anyone who's been here long enough knows GS reviews are just shyt now. I use to actually take account to GS reviews before I actually bought a game but now when they have a feminist, a troll and an idealists doing reviews it's like how the hell am I gonna have to trust these people who spew BS in their reviews, I don't know who's worse, Kotaku or Gamespot.

*GS giving the double middle finger to it's user base, oh yes the good ol "we know what's best for ya" routine when you take away Unions, one of the defining reasons what made Gamespot what it was. Unions were a hub for the user base, a place where we can talk about anything (almost). As time went on GS broke Unions and promised that they'll fix/update them...which never....fracking.....happened. So not only did they take away a big part of what the user base came here for they took everything that connected GS and the userbase together like game nights, user blogs on the front page and now it's like GS doesn't care about it's users.

*The new ToU, oh boy....the amount of stupidity that has gone through here since the rehaul is just 4chan bad, no in fact it makes 4chan look like a Bible meeting on a Wednesday. As long as you're not trolling,spamming or posting obscene stuff you're free to post even if it's the stupidest thing ever posted, you're free to post it and we can't do anything to say "what you said was pretty damned stupid" which is frowned upon all of a sudden, even if we write a 10 page essay on proving someone wrong and what they said was stupid, we're the guilty party for it?.

@GameSpot: So I just got modded for "arguing with users." So we can't argue? We are supposed to sit here and hold hands and all have the same opinions? What a joke.

From what I've seen you were modded for insulting users, not arguing with them. The other users in the same "discussion" were warned as well. If at any point you feel that you can't share your views without resorting to insults then it's probably best to cool off first before you rejoin the discussion. We aren't here to prevent you from talking, but you have to realise that a back-and-forth on something totally unrelated to what was being discussed is in no-one's best interest.

This. It's system wars. So disagreeing and arguing with other users is expected as long as it's related to the topic and not insulting to other users.

Can I get a clarification of the Karma system. So if a post is flagged the accused (and accuser) both get +1 karma, and once it hits 10 then you can't post. So is the +1 to karma added as soon as the post is flagged? So if someone comes along and flags ten of my posts, do I get banned from posting until a moderator sorts through them/the karma decays?

"Microsoft preparing to announce Windows 9" and "Kojima shows MGS5 on Vita" are System Wars martial but " Cows/Lems, do you own any of the new consoles" isnt? Asking these trolls on this forum to show some sort of basis for their beliefs and arguments is not relevant? Wow. No wonder System Wars is in the state it is in now. Good job every one!

SW is not fanboy wars. You can talk about the current gen and last gen systems, but you can not create a thread calling out any of the fanboy groups.
