well sure... that's true in theory, but I'd gather that Gamespot doesnt want to allow a sess pool reputation build around their forums... That I get, but what doesnt sit well is that restrictions to posting hurts those that are respected among the community, where the trolls getting banned is a dime a dozen. Imagine a well respected community member being modded three times in a 60 day period based on 3 questionable incidents... that's not gonna go well.TheEroica

I'm pretty sure GS did a good job at establishing their reputation as a cesspool lately (comment section), and now, it's a bit too late to fix it, especially if their attempt is this weak. Worst crap is coming out of the comment section plagued by low level users who jump in, stir some shit with a few posts, and don't care what happens next. I highly doubt a much more restrictive ToU will change anything in that regard.

Sooner or later, some regular will draw the short end of the stick, and that won't end well. Hell, might as well be me, I already got modded last night.

With the new layout and design of the new GS forums will the comments generate automatically every time a user makes a post? or will it be how it always been in which it would require to hit the Refresh button in order for new posts to show up?

i'd say if the posts will generate automatically then that is a great way to move GS forums forward to the right way.
