Well look at the bright side IGN will be considered a level headed review site again and not IGNorance since while on here their review score will be mentioned over and over again since it was 9.0 there. Conspiracy- IGN paid off Gamespot to have a lower score so that IGN can improve their rep.rybe1025

there could be other factors too, maybe he got alot of negative feedback for scoring the first one with 9.0

maybe he just wanted to get even, lol.

I'm guessing another .5 was cut off because of it's terrible US boxart.:P

quite surprised, but another AE for the PS3 makes it all better. :`)

I own a 360, and do not own a PS3, but if that scoreboard is correct, the PS3 is having a much better year so far. The 360 does have Forza4 and Gears3 on the horizon, and I would think both of those would be AAAE, but other than those 2, I'm not sure what else is out there. There's 3 or 4 Kinect games that look promising, but I doubt they'll go any higher than AE? Meanwhile, the PS3 still has Uncharted3, Resistance3, The Last Guardian, Twisted Metal, and Agent coming down the pike. It looks like this will be PS3's year by a pretty comfortable margin.

Wow, this is one of the bigger flops as of late. I surely was off the mark with my AAA hype, but I still fully intend to enjoy the hell out of it.

I will lol if Gears pulls an 8.5 though. I don't see it happening but it would be ironic though since fanboys have essentially given it the MGS4 treatment. :P

Tom mcshea was being extremely harsh on the game, especially for all of the aspects I2 destroys Infamnous 1 in. Reviewers are becoming more of a joke than actual professionals. Its saddening this is what the gaming industry has come to. I do not trust reviews anymore anyways.Besides, most sites gave I2 an AAA rating

BO didnt just take few steps back but it took a whole generation behind with abysmal graphics, story, animation, etc and it still got AAA

here we have Infamous 2 that improved in every category and it flopped.

all i have to say is WOW!

I played the demo and thought it was alright, I'll probably pick it up seeing as nothing else is really coming out anytime soon.

I've played the demo and spent extensive time in the beta. I can't comment on the story mode or the missions, but the gameplay is more fun than your typical 7.5. The game must have been crap in other areas, because I didn't see it.

I played inFamous when it came out and I've voiced my somewhat negative opinion of it (the characters anyway) it's a fun game if not a bit overrated. But for free? it's great!

I don't really agree with his review. And since he's talking about the leap from Uncharted to Uncharted 2 all the series did was add some more weapons, new locations and graphics, and then made it more cinematic. This also seems to be the case with inFamous 2. It looks better, you have a ton of new powers, and it definitely looks cinematic.

Also in his review he complains about the screen turning grey when you're low on health. That happens in Uncharted 2 also... It's not a big deal. He just needs to learn to run and cover.

This is one of those times where I know I will strongly disagree with Gamespot. It is all good, we all have our opinions. Anyway, I loved the first one and could tell from the demo that I will love this one even more.

Ouch, huge Flop, there were people hyping as GOTY, no doubt the worst Flop in recent years, IMO much worse than GT5, oh well, i'm sure the game is still good.

Question, how come the US always has the worst box art (not just this game, but almost every game!!) than Japan and Europe? :? I don't understand.

After I play the first inFAMOUS, I will decide on getting this. :)
