i personally take 3-5 of the big sites and average there scores.iF the average is good then ill buy it

I have no doubt its a good game Infamous 1 is one of my favs, I am refering to the hype on gamespot perpetuated by the cows, The reveiw and demo have solidified my intention to purchase it.However I find it hilarious how cows will hypea PS3 exclusive as teh bestest thing ever only to have it blow up in their faces.

Atleast the review brought major lulz in the comment section on my birthday.

I'm looking forward to playing the game, but likely won't be able to anytime soon. Watched my younger bro play the demo for a little, and it looked really fun and smooth.

On a somewhat related note, New Vegas is probably my favorite game of 2010, and that got a 7.5 here. Moral of the story is, don't let other people's opinions ruin your experience! But it's fair to consider them.

As for me, Folklore still remains the best rpg game this gen its thans reviwers it was swept under the rug

Although I saw absolutely nothing wrong with that TOD review, it's not the same guy.

A 7.5? Now that I didnt expect. But then again, after the Pokemon Black/White review, I dont know what to expect anymore. A 7.5 is still a good score though, I wouldnt be worried unless it scored 6.5 or below.

P.S: Did you know on Metacritic, New Vegas has a higher user score than FO3. Oh, and nearly everyone I know consider it far suprior to FO3 as well.

Yeah mayne!

But it was Aaron Thomas who reviewed Tools of Destruction. I think mD- was referencing that review in saying that there are ridiculous negatives attached to it.

Tom did review God Of War 3 (9.0) and Fable 3 (7.5), just for comparisons. The IGN review said how the pacing is better right? But he doesn't think the same. Well, I'll find out eventually :P.

I agree.

Oh, and as much as I loved FO3, New Vegas crushes it (and most other RPGs this gen :D). It was good for Obsidian to build off of the engine and design Bethesda created. But their (Obsidian) writing and characters were much more memorable.

Anyway the comments to that video revieware horrible compared to the comments in the SMG2 video review.

I hyped the game 8, I was surpried that it got lower, The cows hyped this game AAAE. And Let me clarify I am not saying the review scored low because of cows I am saying the cows tend to let their enthusiasm get the best of them and OVER HYPE games.Particularly since many of those games are made by people who don't have an AAA track record. Suker Punch based on thier privious games are an AA developer same as Gurilla same as Polyphony But that didn't stop cows over-hyping their games. I can understand over-hyping a Blizzard game or a Bungie game and Even a Konami game since they do have a pretty sold AAA track record.

LOL and thats why cows tend to over-hype then have it blow it up intheir face, why would hype a game made by an AA developer AAA or AAAA? and also I'm pretty sure people look at who is making a game before hyping it, I seriously doubt MOST people who participate in hype blindly hype a game without in the very least looking at certain obvious facts like who made it previews etc, maybe thats why cows fail alot at hyping they just blindly hype.

SW hype is just were people try to guess what score it will get, if the review score equals or beats the hype score, then hype is met, if not it flops.

Gamespot totally lowballed this review like they often do, game is currently 84 on metacritic
