LOL and thats why cows tend to over-hype then have it blow it up intheir face, why would hype a game made by an AA developer AAA or AAAA? and also I'm pretty sure people look at who is making a game before hyping it, I seriously doubt MOST people who participate in hype blindly hype a game without in the very least looking at certain obvious facts like who made it previews etc, maybe thats why cows fail alot at hyping they just blindly hype.

LOL guess my taste and the reviewers taste doesnt match from the demo Infamous 2 seemed very good I enjoyed it but it got 7.5 while the first one which wasnt very good and felt very boring and repetitive (I finished it) but I didnt think it deserve more than 7 yet it got 9 :P.

Am i seeing this right? a 7.5? wow.. i been having a blast with the demo, im seriouly susprirsed of this score but oh well if i cared about scores i would have probably missed on tons of good games, day 1 hero edition baby!

As do I. Since infamous 1 choices were clear cut in what was good and wat was bad. There wasint not 1 single grey choice. So please reviewer tell us these grey choices you speak of since they sure as hell wasint in my game.

I have no doubt its a good game Infamous 1 is one of my favs, I am refering to the hype on gamespot perpetuated by the cows, The reveiw and demo have solidified my intention to purchase it.However I find it hilarious how cows will hypea PS3 exclusive as teh bestest thing ever only to have it blow up in their faces.

Actually thatwas worse. From what I seen from that video review from Infamous 2 most of the complaints are justified.

After reading the written review, I feel that I can relate to the points Tom addressed, even having not played the sequel yet. Still, the 7.5 rating is quite uncalled for in comparison with the reivew and other games receiving higher scores. Also, a reminder that Tom was the one who rated the original inFamous a nine.

• inFamous 1 did not have particularly meaningful moral choices either
• I can definitely see the sequel having a worse story than the orginal, first game had a decent story, but it could have been a lot better.
• Novelty factor wore out. I got a feeling of deja vu when I played the demo, a good and a bad thing.

Honestly who cares if GS gave it 7.5?I mean,game on meta is AA so its nothing to worry about.But damn...what a flop this game is :lol:

I just watched the review and to be honest this review was pretty sub par, he barely talks about the improvements in the game. He says there is more variety... some explanation would be nice. He barely mentions mission variety or enemy AI, two of things that were most flawed in the original. Some talk on replay value would be nice? What about side missions and collectibles? Some explanation on the mission editor would have been good.

No talk on how the graphics have improved, no mention of fixed pop in or the framerate.He didn't even mention the additional powers cole received. He could have commented on the games length.He seems to focus on the negatives a lot without balancing his review with the positives. Also, there is literally no depth to this review what so ever. Thank goodness we still have Kevin.

Still, I will reserve judgement until I play it myself.

7.5????? Why are you doing this Gamespot. When I read the title for the review I thought *oh boy, another one of those 8.5'ers* but a 7.5?

Man Infamous 2 is an 8.0 at least,... I agree with IGN's review here.
