For proffesional reasons though they should strive to keep reviews as consistent as possible in order to create some some uniform standards.

Another Tom McShame review. I never agree with his reviews and I think he is the worst reviewer on the site. Pretty much everytime he does a review I know it is going to be a good 1.5 to 2 points lower than my opinion. I also can't stand to hear him talk and he always looks like he needs a shower.And yes, GameSpot reviews are wholly inconsistent. You are either blind or a fanboy not to see that.

the score is just a joke...someone was grumpy all day and reviewed the game and took out his anger on it....only reason it got 7.5 is cause its not a big step up. well it didnt step down so it was meant to be a 9....anw. ign review is much better

Looks like a bunch of games to me. (In fact, you forgot MLB11 : The Show (AAE), DC Universe (A), SOCOM 4 (AE), Motorstorm Apocalypse (AAE)with that list you posted above):)

First you were talking cows, then you changed the topic and started talking about Sony the company. I've been talking GAMES this whole time...Games for Gamers(which is what Cows, Lemmings, Hermits, and Sheep are made of ;) )!

Also, you must have missed the memo since you brought up multiplats, L.A. Noire was a huge multiplat, it ran better, looked better on PS3, it had more content, all on one snuggly Blu-Ray disc. Right now, the L.A. Noire multiplat on 360, had less content, performed worse and looked worse (according to IGN, Giantbomb, Lens Of Truth, and others), but it did have more...discs. It's a 3 disc game!...

I gotta be honest, as a Gamer, I would rather have a bunch of games coming out all year rather than wait till the end of the year. Luckily as a gamer, I will have and actively play all the machines. Still, It's nice that games are actually coming out and being created for us to play. Seems like an excellent year for Gamers. ;)

L.A Noire has a higher Metacritic score on the 360 (90 on the 360, 89 on the PS3) DESPITE all the stuff you mention and despite the fact that the 360 versions of games always get more reviews, which makes them susceptible to receiving lower aggregates. All multiplats except for Crysis 2 and Dragon Age II were better on the 360 this year (Bulletstorm was equally good on both).

Cows follow which company? Sony, right? Don't nitpick, I didn't move from fans to company, I'm talking about the same general thing.

And for the second half of the year, we can do nothing but wait. Im expecting Gears and Forza to do great, some kinect games will probably score A and AA here and there and theres also The Witcher 2. Not sure which console will do better but at least we know 360 will have a good fall.
