As far as I know Respawn never quoted an xbox resolution before launch, the Beta was 792p, and the game launched at 792p with improved textures......

Are you challenging that fact that Infamous Second looks better than anything on shown on xbox one? If so lol please provide gameplay of something that looks better on xbox 1 so we all can see this mystery game that obviously no one else but you have seen.

All you're seeing is lighter colors brought on by a different time of day, a different position of the light source, and more contrast brought on by the different time of day. From what I can see there was no real physical downgrade, just a huge color and lighting shift based upon setting the scene at a different time of day. The light is clearly hitting the second images from a completely different perspective than before.
The textures and character models look virtually unchanged and the facial models have actually been improved. If you crank up the contrast and give the scene a bit brighter light and remove the orange effect, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the screens.
Of course that's all too logical to think about when you're mindlessly bashing a game. The image is a bit softer (probably a less intense AA method) and the shadows are probably a bit lower resolution, but the overall visuals of the game haven't really changed.
Everything I've seen from the latest gameplay videos the last week has been proof the game is as graphically impressive as the first time they've shown it. I was actually surprised to see it running so many particle effects and lighting effects yet able to keep a smooth framerate.
Your ignorance doesn't change those things no matter how many times you try to convince us otherwise.
Well the same thing goes for the supposed Watch Dogs downgrade. I saw no actual proof of lower quality assets or other graphical elements as compared to last year's PS4 footage. The differences I saw mostly came down to time of day and weather conditions.
But Infamous Second Son doesn't have dynamic weather or day/night cycles. If they changed the lighting in that scene it could simply be an artistic decision, but it also might be because it produced far fewer shadows and improved performance.

Ryse looks great, along with Killzone but Ryse is also a linear corridor hack n slash game with confined spaces and a lowered 900p resolution compared to Infamous and it's graphics all in 1080p and an open world sandbox game.
I remember similar arguments last gen about GOW III when it was given Gamespots graphics GOTY and all lemmings cried about about it being a linear game and that Red Dead was more impressive graphically because it was open world, how does that not apply now? Also lemmings have been making the SAME excuses and arguments about The Order 1866.
Don't know what you want me to say by posting that vid, Ryse graphics are impressive but Infamous is more impressive by having the graphics that it does and being open world, this shouldn't be hard to grasp at least not going by the arguments I have seen from xbox fans for an entire generation and also starting with this one (The order 1866).

I must give it to xbox fans that Ryse looks really really good. But its linear though. Infamous SS is open world thus more impressive at what it does. When comparing linearity then The Order 1886 will beat Ryse. I dont get tired of seeing its 10 sec of gameplay. Thats game just literaly looks like CGI

Nope, still don't see it. And you still haven't shown specifically what has been downgraded. The screen captures I posted from the recent trailer and the 2013 PS4 gameplay show no discernible downgrade.
People see two different areas with different lighting and weather conditions and since one looks more visually appealing they come to the conclusion the game has been downgraded. Such f*cking amateurs.
At least this Infamous comparison is clearly comparing the same cutscene in the same exact spot and it shows an obvious and undeniable difference in the lighting. Produce evidence of the same thing in Watch Dogs or just admit that you don't know what you are talking about.

at night, this is what we call ‘light pollution’. During the night time, in large cities… you will see the clouds turn an average light color from the city below. Especially in cities like Seattle…where we have extremely low cloud decks. I tried to put that into the games night time.
Well, when we moved to HDR and Physical Based Lighting… one of the benefits is having the world rendering look and feel like a cameras exposure. So, we just have to make sure that things look good in all time of days…but the system supports it fully.
The lighting team spent a lot of time researching how bright it is outside during different times of day. We call this physical based lighting. This was done heavily in the pre production part of the project.
The most challenging part of moving to physical based lighting was establishing all of the rules of which an artist has to go by… and THEN figuring out how to break them artistically to get the exact look you want.
Our FX engine allows for randomization of light brightness…it will look a bit different every time.
Time flies… 8 Time of Days in the game, new hardware, physical based lighting, new fx. It was a fun project.
I really enjoyed working on the time of days. Each one has a specific sky and they are a lot of fun to make.
I could talk for days about this. For story reasons we lately keep TODs static. There are a few exceptions.
but I spend a lot of time trying to make TODs feel dynamic and have movement in clouds.. But largely are tied with narrative.
Getting smoke fx to look and feel right was tough… As for me… Getting a gray overcast day to look miserable yet appealing.

Well, Ubisoft also said that there was no downgrade to Watch Dogs, yet many people continued to claim that there was.
If people have the impression there has been a downgrade they will claim there has been a downgrade and it doesn't matter what the objective evidence says.

You don't know what you are talking about. Infamous Second Son does not have a day-night cycle. The developer simply chooses from 8 preset times of day for particular missions or cutscenes. The time of day does not dynamically change as it does in games like Assassin's Creed 4 or Watch Dogs.
@kalipekona: well, you can always ignore them if you think there is no downgrade and i agree with you watch dogs look great to me too
but what i found sad here in this sad excuse of a forum is that this topic still open even though it was proven by the latest leaked videos and pics and sucker punch own word that there isn't downgrade just in that cutsene they used different time in the day because if you played infamous games every mission have it own time in the day so they thought time would be better for this mission only

No, I took a screenshot from nearly every different scene shown in the trailer though. None of them show the kind of downgrade that some people are claiming.

It's not even that.. The comparison gifs in the OP are compressed screengrabs off a youtube video that was displayed in 720p..Not even screen shots. Screengrabs and not even the games native resolution. This is 4 pages of nonsense
