ROFL at everyone who thinks Resistance and R&C titles are going to start popping up for 360.

I like Ratchet but Resistance is complete and utter crap.

Sony owns Ratchet and Resistance. that's why Insomniac partnered with EA since Insomniac will get to keep the rights of the new IP. on the same note, they are working on another PS3 exclusive. it's a win-win for ps3 no matter how you look at it. and yes, it's only a one-game deal.

They said that even if there next game will be multiplatform, there still commiting to PS3 for some games.

EA, huh? That's almost as bad as hearing that Activision is publishing Bungie's next game.

I expect nothing great from either of these companies in the future due to the publishers. Additionally, I never really enjoyed either companies stuff before, so I guess nothing's changed.

Hopefully Insomniac will create a great new IP. I love R&C and Resistance, but it'd be nice if they went in a different direction.

They really aren't that good trust me, r&c was ok but resistance was just meh (btw I own both consoles). There was little to no support at all for resistance 2,its like they just made the game and forgot about it. They didn't even release any dlc for the game, besides the stupid skins.

So now cows dont care about insomniac :?

well unlike mario R&C does not add anything original to their next installments but implements on what they have and makes it look better. If i reviewed a game like that i would make it lose points too.

I agree (they are pretty high aggregate scores), which is why I told Hahadouken that I don't care about averages, that it is simply my opinion that Insomniac's games are middle of the road. Their games on PS1 and the first few on PS2 had a apark for their time, but the Ratchet forumla has gotten stale, especially put up against Mario's recent offerings and the Resistance series is not a stand out in its genre at all.

They haven't been as bad as Activision, but they are still cut from the same cloth, which is why it is kind of vexing to see comments like "Insomniac signed with a better publisher!" They may be better, but they are not all that much better, so such a comment is kind of pointless.

I mean. EA is the company that is trying to take way someone who buys a game used's ability to play online.
