I dont buy it anymore, they should just make somthing new, like lost oddessy i dont know how thats going to be but its new.
I've gone off FF games, I like nippon ichi titles a ton now ^_^ I like the depth and replayability they have over the casual approach FF series has taken up, I haven't enjoyed a FF story since 8.ZenkusoAtlus, Konami, and Nippon Ichi = holy trinity of JRPGs.
I hate FF, but thats because I was raised in western civilization and grew up around true americans and raised from my parents mexican heritage, so Ive been bred to HATE RPGS and thank God for that because RPGS SUCK, only people who will continue to buy that stupid FF crap and RPGS altogether are japs, are people who are in anyway slightly interested in japanese culture.LivingReceiver
Wow could this post be any worse.

Take your anti-japanese nonsense elsewhere. BTW, Mexican culture is not considered western nor is it considered American. Why do you think there is a lot of animosity between Americans and recent Mexican immigrants.
I personally don't like RPGS anymore, so yea FF and RPGs in general are getting old.

So much wrong with this post. It seems that you haven't played an RPG let alone a Final Fantasy game and yet you can't stand them? I am glad your opinion means nothing in the real world because RPGs are one of the top genres in gaming.

you think i give a fukk?
You've lost the debate when you resort to that. Also referring back to your original post, it's not just japanese who buy RPGs it is many americans as well, people all over the world really.

Racism is alive and well I see. Take that crap else where nobody wants to read that mess. Open your eyes and accept a game for what it is not for where it was made.
I'm fine with the main series but enough with the damn spinoff/remakes/ports. FFIII was acceptable because it never was released outside of Japan but besides that I'm only in it for main installments and a true sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics. Everything else I could care less for.Blackbond
Why does not being released outside of Japan make it better than version that have been released outside of Japan?

Because they weren't even the same game? FF3 JP was FF6 US. Or was it the other way around.[QUOTE="FallenReign"][QUOTE="Blackbond"]I'm fine with the main series but enough with the damn spinoff/remakes/ports. It's really the same thing, actually, ESPECIALLY with the more recent installments.
lol yep you never play a FF.
:| You did NOT just say that. :|
Honestly, kids these days. You disagree with something they think about a series, then you've CLEARLY not played it. Grow up.

I didn't say it, I just typed it.
I dunno. FF games are generally of higher quality than most other JRPG's, but they've been decreasing in quality, or certainly appeal, to me since FFIX. I won't be raising my hopes as high for FFXIII as I did for X and XII.

Wow, witty AND poignant.
You think I, a fan of the FF series since Goddamn III (Or VI, if one's picky) haven't played a single FF game, simply because I don't see each and every one as a completely and totally different experience? You insult me, if not disgust me. Who the hell do you think you are to declare who has and hasn't played Final Fantasy? I've no doubt played it longer than you.
Being sick of Final Fantasy would require a gamer to be sick of JRPG's. Every Final Fantasy is a different experience, a new story line, and each of them usually includes a number of new mechanics. It just doesn't make sense that someone would suddenly lose interest in the series like that. I can see being unimpressed with some of the titles but that is about as far as I would take it.Velric
Being unimpressed with every FF title released since IX can EASILY make someone lose interest in the series. :|
