Outside of here, yes. It's just not a Windows-based PC. PC is pretty much all-encompassing as a definition, and thus Mac would fall under it, though the term has become more popularized (no thanks to Apple) as defining a PC running Windows.

Take a look at all the Windows users here. Most are kids, who don't work, and only do things like play games, surf the internet, and bash Macs.

I use a macbook pro at work. They suck. Slow, terrible at multitasking, WAY overpriced and no games. No idea why anybody would buy one.

The comparison would work if Corvettes used the same exact engine/transmission/controls/whatever Civics do. Like Macs do with Dell, HP, GIGABYTE or Asus hardware.

a console is not a system on a different OS.. and consoles cannot be simply do a change of OS and play games.. even if you could change the OS there's different amounts ram, graphics chips and processors in consoles making the consoles handle instructions differently.
