Its hardly a fair fight; $250 3DS versus $250 PS Vita

The 3DS really looks over-priced next to the PS Vita. Either Sony is losing a ton of money or Nintendo is really ripping you off. I dont see how the 3DS can hold its price point when the Vita launches.

Sorry to say but Sony doesnt have exteremly heavy 1st party hitters like Nintendo does. This fight may be over before it started regardless of the fantastic price of the Vita.

The 3DS actually have games I'm looking forward to. Not so much with the PS Vita.

Vita isn't competing with the 3DS, it's competing with 3DS and its epic line-up of first- and third-party games. Sony has their work cut out for them.

Yeah it's not a fair fight with the 3DS having all those great games and Vita only having Uncharted...

Nintendo will always because they have the new wave of kids to play mario and middle schoolers to play pokemon. (not saying older ppl don't play those games)

lol sheep are so crazy. One mario game and all of a sudden $250 for $100 dollar hardware is cool. Personally im more excited about Luigis Mansion, I probably wont be buying Mario 3d. Hopefully we can get a price drop on that 3ds though.

As of now, the only game worth getting on the Vita is Uncharted.

The 3DS has Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, Star Fox, and Resident Evil ALL coming this year.

Whats up with the no Vita games bull. Uncharted, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Wipeout, Street Fighter x Tekken, Modnation Racers. But oh those are just console games I'd rather have those 3ds Mario, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Luigis Mansion. Now those are handheld games.

It is funny how the TC is comparing the price and the hardwares in the thread then suddenly all the 3DS defenders came in and use the softwares to argue over the TC's comparison. Basically I think the TC has won already when the 3DS defenders have to submit defeat on the hardware front and retreat to the softwares. Wii has great Nintendo games too but it won't stop the other consoles have their own great games, see where this is going? Vita is easily the better handheld right now with that fantastic price tag, we'll see what games are coming out for it though.

Nintendos 1st party lineup is how. The software will sell tremendously if Mario, Mario Kart and Zeldas previous outing are any indication and with that hardware sales will increase, probably dramatically.

Exaggerration much? The 3DS may be pretty damn over priced but its a very good portable system.
The Vita is without a doubt the better overal system technically speaking and feature wise but software ultimately warrants a systems purchase.

Dont get me wrong I will get the Vita becuase i get every system and will like it very much I think, I just think its funny how alot of people underestimate how powerfull Nintendo is with all of its exclusives. Mario Kart alone is more powerfull than ANYTHING vita could get.
