It's over, Crysis 2 on 360 is sub hd confirmed.

Not only that but it's got incredibly dull/generic multiplayer action and laggy controls. At this point it's gonna need a friggen AMAZING campaign if it wants to be worth a s***. I would be lieing if I said I wasn't expecting this game to fail the second I heard it was going to consoles.

Probably it's another bad case of multiplat with 720x480 resolution and no AA. The thing is, lems hyped Crysis 2 as teh console grafix king, but it probably went the way of Alan Wake and Metro 2033. I have to check SP to be sure.

As far as I know, only the second set of numbers are important to HD anyways. Ever walk into a store and see tv's for sale with "1280x720P or full HD of 1920x1080" ... nope, its always 720p or 1080P ignorign the first res. Infact some 720p TV sets use non native resolutions of 1024x768 and claim to be 720p. I guess what i'm saying is that if the horizontal pixels are slightly less, its still considered 720p native.

The fact of the matter is this: Lems have hyped Crysis 2 as the next console graphics king to bring down the PS3 in any way they possibly can (it's common knowledge that the PS3 has some of the most visually impressive exclusives on consoles). If Crysis 2 doesn't offer the goods, Lems would have been wrong all along (as history repeats itself, like with Alan Wake, Metro, and Gears of War 2), and Cows get to rub it in their faces hard.

Actually the console version of Crysis 2 has better lighting than Crysis1 vanilla. Someone posted pics on Beyond 3D but it was deleted. Bitter PC fanboy I guess.

You do realize that weapons glow white to indicate that they can be picked up, right? Since the RPG was knocked out of the guys hand, it's a weapon that can be picked up, hence why it is starting to give itself a white glow. Has literally nothing to do with the lighting, and you clearly havn't played Uncharted 2 MP enough to know this...

As far as the rest of the pic is concerned, it looks bad. However, I'd love for you to find me 15 more pics that look just as bad. I'm sure I could give you 100 great looking pics for every single bad one you show :lol:
