I seriously don't care for this guy. It seems like everyday I come on this site there's some BS about Jaffe (the whiny b!tch), or Sony's love, or lack thereof, animals. How old is this guy? 'Cause my five-year-old son doesn't whine this much.

That's a little pathetic. He's supposed to be a professional. Do you think Miyamoto or Kojima would go online and blog about how unfair one reviewer was to his games? Doubtful. If Jaffe wants to maintain his status as one of the most respected developers, he needs to act like he's been there before. Otherwise he'll come off as a selve-serving dope who requires unequivical praise for everything he does to satisfy his bulbous ego.WiiForAll

Have you ever heard him speak? If you have u would know he doesnt give a crap about all that, he'll speak his mind thats always been his style.

A similar amount of content to other downloadable titles that are cheaper and offer more like many of the titles on Wii VC or XBLA? 

On that note, for 10 dollars, CAC comes in severely below the curve and I can think of 1000 games I'd rather spend 10 dollars on, downloadable or old titles from my local Gamestop.. 

From the posts I read it feels like people here see reviews as scientific conclusions. Game reviews hasnt always been right sometimes they are wrong. Jaffe has a right to complain because gamespot complained on stuff that are irrelevant.

CAC's single player is basically a tutorial because CAC is basically a multiplayer game.

The game originally had more weapons, Jaffe reduced it because it was too chaotic.

What does Gamespot expect from a brand new $10 game?

scores differ depending on the game, a party game shouldnt be judged like a full fledged game.

    I really, honestly prefer game developers to stay mum on the topic of reviews. You made the game, some people will inevitably like it, some won't. Nothing every appeals to everyone.

    So why stand on your soapbox to bag on someone else's soapbox? Just take the criticism's like a professional, and work on your next project. Focusing on reviews and trying to "correct" them is a huge waste of time and energy, as you cannot get everyone to like something.

Poor form.

Jaffe should by now realize he won't please everyone, and that everyone's opinion may differ from what he wants or expects. He should except the review for what it is, there is no need to blog against it. What this cmoes across as is a director crying over spilt milk.

I think Gamespot can sometimes really miss the purpose of what certain games are supposed to achieve. There are many GameSpot games that are in the 6 and 7 range that I've really enjoyed. I would even go so far to say that they are classics.

I can understand Jaffe's frustration with their reviews.
