I certainly hope so. Perhaps this will be the game to inspire to purchase an Xbox three hundred and sixty.

VGAs = Dec 12th. Should be interesting.

I'm interested to see this. Better be good. But it won't be hard to beat the utter ugliness that was ODST. Those graphics were horrendous.

Even though i'm anticipated for GT5, i'd have to agree. Expensive doesn't always mean good.

I'm not interested in new gameplay, new graphics and a new story. In my eyes Halo 3 is as near to perfect as that series is going to get. The moment Bungie loses me as a Halo fan is when the games no longer become fun and challenging.

Count me in. Im hyping this game for a while now, ODST was somewhat disappointing for me after i hype it :P.

I really hope they haven't spent very much of the 360's resources on the immediately visible graphics. Bigger enviorments, more vehicles, deeper physics, more enemies, better AI. Those things actually matter.

I think 2010 is too soon. Unless that's why ODST is so short. They were focusing on Reach?LOXO7

GT5 will probably sell more in the long run. It definitely has a wider fanbase than Halo but I don't see its hype over-taking Reach. Not to mention's Halo's marketing team really know how to generate some anticipation. The whole "believe" campaign in 2007 was brillant.

good, im always looking forward to games that bring something new from a technological perspective, whether its graphics, atmosphere, gameplay, online, etc

Meh, I'm not really buying it. Only a few FPS shooters have ever had a "huge leap". I dont see it happening with Reach, especially since the formula has basically been the same for the Halo series since CE.

So far, I haven't seen as much hype for Reach as I did for 3. I wonder if it would get more hype if it was a numbered installment in the series, ie Halo 4?

I don't think you understand how massive the Halo fanbase is.

Geoff Keighley is easily my favourite gaming journalist. He seems very intelligent and knowledgable on gaming and very passionate about his job (everyone remembers him defending Mass Effect when FOX news had that stupid story). Since he said this, I'm incredibly excited to see the gameplay video now. I can't wait!Trinexxx

Even though Revolution is a blind fanboy, I think you are also underestimating the GT fanbase. GT is as much a juggernaut in the driving arena as much as Halo is in FPS.

Well I know it will be the biggest selling game of 2010. I honestly dont care about the halo world at all. The MP is fun though.

I don't trust Geoff Keighley's opinion whatsoever. So I still remain not hyped up for this title. The only good Halo game is the original still.

Well if you include all those books, maybe. Going by vgchartz (I know, I know) Halo 3 has hit 10M. Halo 3 is the first on to cross 10M sold. GT, on the other hand, already has 3 10M+ sellers in GT, GT3 and GT4. I would say that the GT fanbase is pretty huge as well.
