yeah... I think people dont realize the days of exclusives on the PlayStation or Xbox platform selling 10million+ are pretty much over especially for this gen, the only reason GT sold so much before because the PS2 had a HUGE HUGE install base.

Whats the biggest selling exclusive right now? halo 3 went up to 8 million right? whats the highest on the PS3 right now? MGS4 with 5 million? for GT5 to get to 10 or 12 especially with the install base the PS3 has/gonna have when it comes out seems pretty impossible to me imo.

lol, no, "biggest game of (insert year)" usually refers to the most anticipated, most hyped game of that year, not necessarily which sells the most.........although that is usually the case. Biggest game has never meant biggest dev cost lol.

In-engine pre rendered trailers are the future of video games. I mean better announce a game looking like this

I can't wait for the fanboy hype of halo reach graphics until they get completely put down by when they show real footage. Not going to say it will look bad (lighting, and art should be top notch) but anyone expecting anything better than killzone 2 graphics are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I am just going for lulz...I love when hype like this comes along so soon.

It's almost as if this year's Halo ODST and this year's HaloWars are being swept, nay Shoved under a rug, and HaloReach is getting the spotlight, all within the same year (2009).

How much Halo do we need to talk about this year, you know what I mean?

We all know that 2010 is already reserved for HaloReach...but this Halo Reach hype is more than that. It's almost as if 2009's Halo games are already being forgotten, in lieu of the prospect of the new Exciting Halo Game around the corner!

Don't get me wrong, they are great games, but geez, I'm still finishing up this year's games, ya know. :P

There's nothing to get excited about yet, we don't even really know anything. This whole thread is based on a sentence from some guy. You know what I mean. lol. :P

I say this knowing I've beat EVERY Halo game on Legendary, so don't try to label me, I'm just saying Halo can take care of itself.:)

I dunno really but the MS marketing machine will no doubt create something appropriate because this game is going to be massive for them & Bungie since i think it's safe to say that after Reach, we won't see a Bungie done Halo for a good long while.

i wont believe until i see gameplay video....i think the video they gonna show at VGA is gonna be some "in-engine" stuff which probably looks significantly better then what final game will look like.

So far, I haven't seen as much hype for Reach as I did for 3. I wonder if it would get more hype if it was a numbered installment in the series, ie Halo 4?

I think that is because Halo 3 had more information by this time, we have what on Halo Reach? A CG trailer of a planet and some blurry pictures taken by a cellphone camera.
