That's probably why GS gave MP3 a 8.5:lol:

 Why would ANYONE want to play this?

It looks cool. I'm seriously considering getting it. It'll really complement my work out routine. :)
DDR should be on every gamers workout routine. That game rocks and the music is best. Who needs WiiFit.
And that why I syill say at the time next year the Wii sales will drop dramattically.
And if it doesn't, the vast majority of games for it will be casual minigames or similar.

Who says I'm not getting DDR too? I find Wii Fit intriguing cause of the Yoga exercises. Should be fairly interesting :)

Any exercise beats doing nothing.
Europe has always been a casual freindly market look at the sales of Singstar to prove that. Saying the Wii or Nintendo doesn't have hardcore games is just being uninfomred. Yes this past year we have seen mainly mini games and I'm sure we'll see more. But their are hardcore games if you look instead of just go with the flow with the Wii bashing.books83
NA and Japan are casual friendly too, seeing as the hardcore crowd is suppossed to be smaller than the casual crowd. Sure there are some "hardcore" games, but the point is that hardcore games aren't there focus. That says a lot more about the system and it's possible future lineup. What if developers decide to go with Nintendo's way and make crap/minigames? Hardcore games would be far and few between.

Third Parties are already making resources for casual games. EA has made an entire studio for them that plans on making games for all platforms. Ubisoft has their own division for casual games do you think that they are going to limit themselves to the Wii and DS? Two of the most anticipated games this holiday season are casual freindly games. They are Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3. Yes they are casual freindly but are enjoyed by the hardcore too. DDR is set to hit all major consoles. Sony is planning on releasing Singstar this year. No matter how you cut it Little Big Planet is going to be catered to the casual freindly too. Lets not forget Home.Microsoft is trying to get on the casual freindly scene with Scene It and Viva Pinata Party Animals.
I wonder if this attitude is reflected towards 3rd party developers. If so, I doubt the Wii will ever have a good, non-nintendo game because the developers will just go the route of Ubisoft. If you don't know what that is, it is basically using cheap Wii games to fund the "big" projects for 360, PS3, and PC.
I dont want to get a Wii just so I dont suport their casual focas, plus theres only two hardcore games right now ZeldaTP and MP3.xXHackettXxAnd both flopped:lol:
Well. At least their plan is working in terms of making money and opening a market that MS and Sony didn't do so well in. Or did Sony open the market more with the PS2? Eh. Either way, Nintendo's plan is good, just not good for the hardcore audience.hotdaisy18excuse me? what happend to the PS1 and PS2 that sold over 100 million consoles each? so far sony has expaned the market more than wii
I truly believe that Nintendo is moving away from their bread and butter which I am sad to say, I hope they suffer because of it. Without their hardcore fans, they would never have accomplished all that they had which has allowed them to put out their casual games. I am sorry but the hardcore games they turn out seem like one out of every 5 total put out. While I own a Wii I do hope that Nintendo receives some sort of reduction in sales because of this, hopefully awakening them to the fact that they need their hardcore fans.

nintendo will show all of their big cards at e for all in oct., this was a "casual" summit
marth678
You dont seem to get it , the casuals are the ones Nintendo cares about most
Its official. The Wii is killing gaming as we know it.
I really hope the sheep are truly happy about this because..frankly...no one else is.
Hate to sound generic, but damn that article was biased.
Has anyone more credible said something about this tour?
 Why would ANYONE want to play this?

I don't know :?
If you want to exercise.....you should REALLY exercise, and not play "pretend-exercise"
I'm not surprised at all by this....the plan unravels.

Zack & Wiki looks like loads of fun, and it is a 3rd party adventure game. Sure it looks a little childish graphics wise but it looks like it will be a great game worth picking up for the Wii. Do not forget the arcade shooters like Ghost Squad and Resident Evil, which will probably only be low AA games, but I personally love those arcade kinds of shooters so I will have no regrets playing them. Then you got the untitled Lucas Arts game, Animal Crossing and Mario Kart for early next year as well. The Wii has lots of hardcore games this year, most of them are first party obviously but there are also the casual games like Manhunt 2. Plus No More Heroes is a 3rd party game and while it looks to be more of a sandbox game which is a casual friendly genre, it will still be awesome.
It is not Nintendo's fault that companies like Ubisoft are lazy and do not want to bother making good real games for the Wii, in fact, I would rather Ubisoft take a year or two and develop a good Wii exclusive game instead of garbage like Rayman Raving Rabbits 2 or a port of a next gen FPS.
Boo fricking hoo hoo hoo. Cry us a river you whining casuals, at least Nintendo is trying to do something different instead of giving us all the same recycled garbage like the next half assed FPS, amediocre platformer or some pathetic sanbox game that only white kids from the suburbs who think they are gangster play. Nintendo isn't retarded though ya know, they are still making hardcore games, they would be stupid not to and 3rd parties are backing them up with all sorts of games, instead of the 50th installment of Call of Duty or another horrid Jak and Daxter game.DSgamer64Wow, look at me, apparently I'm not hardcore enough to play pad on the ground.
 Why would ANYONE want to play this?

it sad because nintendo are capable of making reall really amazing games but they're just bringing out Crap and rehasing old stuff ad infinitum.
wind waker will always be one of my favourite games ever
The reasons i hate nintendo today, they just have no soul left and aren't treating games like an artform.
I hope Wiifit fails, but i doubt that would put an end to this horrible philosophy they've adopted.
